Hes a grown man it’s been proven but he likely has a disease called gigantism which causes you to never stop growing due to a brain tumor on the pituitary gland
He way more than 400 you gotta think embid is 300 at 7'1" and he's no frail like wemby (and wemby is 250 at 7'5" and he's skin and bones) this kid is chubby at 7'11" I bet he's anywhere from 450 to 480 that's a big boy
I think he would do well in college first. May I suggest that he go and play for a basketball conference like the Big 12 first before he goes to the pros? BYU is currently looking for a center for their basketball team.
I do not envy him. Everything normal sized people take for granted is probably a struggle/challenge for him. Finding clothes, using the bathroom, driving a car, etc.
That’s true. I’m only 6’3” and some cars or off limits to me. Especially when having to rent one? So What kind of car could he possibly fit in comfortably? A full size convertible Hummer with the top down? Or a double decker bus with the second floor removed?
Hes clearly 7"8. With shoes i can see right there on the tape measure hes 2 inches shorter than 7"11 take the shoes off hes about 7:8 maybe less really at least in this video
The way the young man can throw the basketball, imagine how he might be able to throw a baseball ⚾👍 if you're putting together a 3 on 3 team for BIG money, you'd be well served to get him on your team,it would be an automatic winner
If you stop the video at 1:12, it looks like he is past 7'10, maybe 7'10 1/2, except, he might be slumping or not, as his face seems forward. However he is wearing shoes which might add an inch. He should be measured in bare feet and not slumping. This is not definitive, other than he likely is at least 7'9" without shoes.
@@ChatterBoxBran 100% True. I would like to see this guy in person. Apparently he slumps because he has had to duck under doorways and ceilings and to be closer to people, which I think he might be 8 feet if he didn't. Massive......astoundingly so!
Yes, last comment...7 foot eleven, weighing? 400? 425? To be honest, it looks like to me not many (including himself) are taking basketball all too serious based on his sagging body structure. Instead of the weightroom, he looks like he has been concentrating on McDonalds and Taco bell along with his standing partial windmill dunks. He would be 7-11 weighing 330-350 with some lean muscle if he had any NBA or professional people working with him.
Haven't you thought that the heavier you are, the higher chance of an injury, also with his height, hes already heavy himself to the point wheres its hard to exercise due to his mass and injuries that might occur
Did he get leaner? In the first part he looks like he has gyno, but that last shot he looks leaner, maybe it's just a good shirt lol. But if he really wants to play he neeeds to get in very good shape. Don't wanna be one of those mid bigs if he makes it
Notice height, including his tall stature, is a disadvantage, as it makes him run slowly and he is also somewhat overweight. NBA needs to have more people like Mugsie and Spud also, not just tall people. There are advantages to being shorter also, 5'6" e.g., such as running faster and defense (knocking ball out of opposing player's hand when it is at his waist during dribble or while holding it, e.g.).
The short people that have made it to the nba are either super athletic/skilled or exceptions with an average league height of 6’8 they will be complete disadvantages on defense while also getting consistently blocked. Even people like Aquila Carr, trae Jefferson did not make it. And the short 6ft dudes are having insane trouble. It’s also a rich people network contest it isn’t always the best people being drafted Bol Bol failed the draft twice and he is 7ft 2
Just wonder if he can run the floor. Doubt it tho bc he would be in the league if he could. Also, to tell how old he is, they could cut his leg off and count the rings 🤔. He's a redwood, right?!!! 😆😵💫
A coach needs to get him started on strength conditioning. If this dude builds up his legs and becomes a little more athletic, he would definitely go to the NBA.
His walking gait seems not equal and balanced. So very prone for injury his size. Nba should start putting in some height cap lol soon we'll have 9ft players.
People are so dumb when it comes to height and basketball. no he can’t play in the nba, no he cannot b a star in the nba. Still fun watch and pretty amazing none the less
To my knowledge, the tallest confirmed basketball player was 8'0, and if true (which I am skeptical of) the tallest player ever was 8'4. But he might have been a circus performer who pretended to play basketball.
@@RC-bx6cn theres been a few players like this that never got anywhere near the NBA, just because youre huge playing against kids, doesnt mean you can do it in the pros
The problem is can his skills be good enough to play in the NBA. The basketball league is not aiming to find the tallest player because there is no award for that.
Wont matter… basketball isnt just a half court game..: the nba or even college will make sure hes running up and down the floor. Looks like his overall speed is a 15.
I keep hearing everyone saying, "NBA." But there's only one problem with that... He can't play a lick of basketball from what I can see. Show me a pickup game with real American players that are at least on the college level then come talk to me.
so what if he's 24 thats still really young, in the UK 15 and 16 yo kids have played football {soccer} for our National side, i don't why proving ur age matters if his ID says he's 17 and you don't believe him im pretty sure if someone with half of brain can find where he grew up and go find kids he went to school with..
Idk if he is really ready for the NBA but maybe the D league. He has a lot of body conditioning to do before I would say he ready for the NBA but he does look good playing with mediocre players. He is slow tho need to lose some weight and gain some speed, stamina and endurance he looks like he would get tired fast running up and down the court at a NBA pace.
