Thanks 4 sharing ur knowledge with us. I'm just starting out customizing but I'm working on Mockups 1st. I don't have an ipad to get procreate but my android has an app like it called HiPaint that works like procreate. Hopefully my 1st custom sneakers will come out official like urs. 👋

Building up to your final colour by mixing in white and working in ratios especially when working over a darker base colour is one of the best tips not in this video... Love how concise this video is and I can't believe using thinner to create washes and glazes had not yet occurred to me. Thank you so much for that one...

I wish I used thr trace and transfer method earlier it makes life soooo much easier than the free hand sketch .. I used to hand paint custom roller derby helmets. i used a mix of spray paint and acrylic but now I wish I knew about that buildup of coats technique too !!

No, it is mostly for the aesthetics. If you prep properly, your shoes will be fine!

Cassy, how long after painting the shoe, do you apply the finisher?

Usually we suggest 30 minutes to an hour before applying finisher. You want to make sure the paint is nice and dry first.
