Man if I had a coach like you, I’d be swimming great by now. This is very challenging for me getting my footing and the breathing. I start to panic and end up choking on the water. 😔

Try to meditate and do bubbles(nose for exhaling). Before you do anything or any lesson in the water. Enjoy the flow and calm of the water. To dismount floating on stomach. That's to get upright (vertical) from horizontal. - Heel to Butt, Knee to Chest. Remember it doesn't have to be perfect or fast. Focus on the motion and let the water work it's magic. PS - I am beginner myself, have just started swimming the deep-end-assisted(instructor/coach). The best advise I have had is to be calm even in danger. Alert the lifeguards and focus on the maneuvers to get out of it. Say out loud the shortest possible version of exit maneuvers/dismount before entering the pool to jog your memory. Don't rush it. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Everytime you have nose and mouth in water slowly exhale. Enjoy those tiny little bubbles. When coming out for inhaling come above the surface as smooth and gentle as possible. Don't rush this step as this is the most crucial one as from my experience. Remember you always have enough time to inhale (always through the mouth, wider = more volume = faster + no choking). Your leg paddling might stop and sink while you inhale don't panic and focus on inhaling a proper breath. Remember you can always paddle but you can only inhale above the surface. So don't worry that you're sinking focus on taking that proper breath in. Once you are comfortable with your breaths Congrats you have crossed the major mental block in your swimming journey. Rest of the things from that point onwards won't be that difficult mentally or terrifying.

I feel you, I can glide but I have a problem in standing up when I want to stop gliding this makes me fear gliding! 😭

Wow i wish i had coach like him , standing is so important technique for beginners, i am struggling to stand in pool , glad i found this video , everybody in you tube is teaching only floating and breathing ,

So hard too for me. Also to be far from the wall ! How to manage the fear. Its not too bad with a low level of water but in the deep pool, im afraid!
