Often games indulge in weird cameos, with a character, person or item dropping in from somewhere else entirely. Here are the cameos that are far too mind blowing -- crossing a line and totally messing with our canon. I mean seriously... what?!

Outside Xtra Ratchet and Clank and Jak and Daxter used to make Cameos in each others games along with Sly cooper. In R&C2 Ratchet also plays R&C1 and 2 on the Start up screen among other games

Assassain's Creed is kind of free to put whatever Cameo's in they want. Since the story of the game is that you're interacting with memories via the animus. So maybe some cheeky technician added some stuff to it for funsies.

Oh man, that Assassin's Creed: Origins cameo confused me SO much when I encountered it. Not being familiar with the Final Fantasy game that was being referenced I was asking so many questions. I remember wondering if that guy was some Isu person who would become important later and found it really weird that it was never brought up again. Still put that sword to use, though.

I recognized the chocobo, but had no idea who the guy was supposed to be. I pretty much gave up on final fantasy past the one with Noctis, aside from the VII remake. Once a series starts trying to milk the IP with mainline MMO titles, I'm pretty much done for good.

While we know enough about Star Wars to confidently declare that it does not adhere to the rules of relativity, following those rules: if Yoda were transported instantaneously (read: faster than the speed of light) to Earth, then Star Wars and Soul Calibur would only be happening simultaneously relative to Yoda's frame of reference _at the moment he was transported._ For others in Yoda's same galaxy the events of Soul Calibur could be almost any time in the past, or the _future_ depending on how fast they're moving and how far away their galaxy is from ours.

@@wolves600 It doesn't mean it's far into the future, none of those words mean that. It's "a long time ago", it doesn't matter where. It's still a long time ago. WE might have space ships and robots in our future, but in a galaxy far, far away they had them "a long time ago", kind of like how in the 16th century Europeans had only recently learned about gunpowder but it was invented in China in the 9th century, when Vikings were using swords and spears in Europe - it doesn't mean China was in The Future.

I for one hate kingdom hearts and super smash bros The crossovers/cameos make absolutely no fucking sense and bring irrelevant characters to the same spot. Kingdom hearts: brings the famous, popular and amazing rpg series Final fantasy to.. Fucking Disney.. +Robert Evans - Vivec has achieved something called CHIM, which is basically like Buddhist enlightenment, sorta. It supposedly makes one realize that all living beings are one, and also one with the universe. Knowing this allows one to shape the universe basically at will, with some limitations. Some players also interpret this as Vivec knowing he is actually a character in a video game, and that he's used console commands to change the game to make himself stronger, though this is only one way to take it. The more lore-friendly notion is just that he knows that the Elder Scrolls universe is basically a kind of dream of a higher being, if you will. It's layers upon layers of imagination.

WHAT THE FUUUUUUU I played so much Dead Space, and so much Skate 3. but that crossover Isaac character cheat was completely new to me. I WISH I'd known about this back in the day, the only game my roommate would ever play with me was Skate 3, meanwhile I played Dead Space when he wasn't around. If I could've surprised him with this weird crossover and just been all like "yea m8, it's a character from one of the game I play" I would've been so pleased, haha.

They meant that their characters showed up as a cameo in a different game. For Super Mario Odyssey, it was the NBA game where they showed Mario, Luigi and Peach playing against NBA players. Portal 2, a mod in Skyrim added the Space Core which he just crashes down onto Tamriel. (I still find it rather interesting that instead of being fan made, Bethesda and Valve teamed up together to create the mod. I mean that's why it stands out compared to other mods.)

Charlie Mack I mean it would be possible in all the other games since they where connected to an cloud service and other agents could drop in and or or the time glitches in unity. But especially in this game there was an offline mobile animus with no connection point to hack in so nope its cannon bayek has seen this dude in his life.
