Thank you so much for sharing this info, I've used timeric with curcumin in the past for other dogs and will be starting my 3 yr old Dane on some, hopefully tonight(I believe he's developed a pinched nerve)and like to avoid strong meds when possible.
so good to hear a dr whos NOT brainwashed by the medical industry....im so fed up with advise from vets and all their medications....good to get support here online from someone who dares to think for him self and share...send you love....and such a kind energy too...wonderfulll - thanks
I just discovered Dr Jones, Im Going to try all of his suggestions. I'm picking up all of these at the store today!!! Have you seen any improvements with your animals lads??
@@lynnelynne7551 I tried it all and very minor improvement. Eventually it got worse so I bought generic painkiller meloxicam. That took all the inflammation out of the joint and shrunk the knee DRASTICALLY. Huge improvement compared to the natural supplements IMO. I still have her on the supplements too but the anti-inflammatory effects of meloxicam were 100x more powerful.
We make bone broth easily with our costco roast chickens we put the skin & bones in our instant pot with water & hit the broth button. We cycle it twice to get the bones really soft. Our arthritic dog can walk now. She doesn’t need dog pain meds anymore. We also feed real food, leftovers meat chicken, mixed vegetables, & brown rice. We get mixed frozen vegs in big bags from costco. We give them heartworm pills every month. They get raw hamburger too. We were sick of having great dogs that died from cancer. Now our pets are really old but still active. Our min pin takes SamE for his dementia he’s old but an amazing athlete. Goes upstairs like a flash even tho each step is taller than him.
@Lynne Lynne I have,, nothing works .!! Pist off ...!! Back to vets who are useless... Miss my old school vet . He healed animals ,, Sick of sugar coatings from both sides ..!
How did he put his career on the line? He could have investments in all of the drugs mentioned. I'm not claiming he does but it is very common for doctors to prescribe things they have stock in.
@@nofd1977 I did not mean to trigger you, it was just a question. Just a tip, if your only way to stand up for yourself when you are defensive is to tell someone to research it, you should offer a link to a study to at least point out you are not sending people on a wild goose chase, looking for claims you just made up or in this case is probably just your prediction. Although I do already know that politics hurt specific businesses. However, I also know that more often they help musicians build a more loyal fan base and as far as I have researched the evidence supports my claim, which I would be happy to provide if you like? I clearly just wanted to ask you and understand your train of thought. Is your word not reliable? If you often talk out of your ass it would make sense to get defensive over someone asking about your thoughts but hey you are allowed to think, I just wanted to know why you thought that. I hope you come to see that you do not need a study to prove your opinions or ideas, unless you want to claim you were correct.
@@youtubecensorspeace1874 if you think that's triggered then you really wouldn't wanna see me mad lmao. It must be the sensitive mindset of so many in today's world. Listen its gonna be ok I promise👍
Boswellia and Curcumin in conjunction with physical therapy has fixed my 100lb dogs CCL injury without TPLO or TTA. Thank you Dr Andrew for your amazing loving advice. If only all vets valued animals wellbeing over massive profits the world would be a much better place for animals.
I,ve been practising massage , acupressure , reflexology and manipulation for 25 years . The things you are revealing to the puplic and pet owners is fantastic . Thanks John
Thank you so much for all your help! I have my 19 yr old lab with arthritis on homemade dog food made with bone broth, garbanzo & navy beans, carrots, chicken hearts & gizzards then after I add rice cooked in bone broth. She is on omega-3 (thanks for letting me know to increase it!) She take move-free, probiotics& turmeric also gets great relief from her MSM glucosamine treats. Thank you for giving us more suggestions I can't wait to try! Those who leave negative comments are probably veterinarians who are afraid of loosing $ not lives. Please ignore them. You are doing a great service to all animals & owners alike❤🐾🐾❤
THANK YOU- you are providing a wonderful gift to our society and are truly a blessing to our wonderful furry friends and us, their human family! In our home we see our dog and cats as an extension of our family- like our children/brothers/sisters, because they have taught us so much about compassion, empathy, forgiveness and love- we have grown and respect all living creatures and our canine, feline, mammal friends have given us knowledge of what it truly means to love from a universal perspective! I recall when people actually thought animals had no emotions and only basic survival instncts-how wrong we were! We are becoming more balanced as a civilization everyday by learning from one our animal friends! My children have grown up to respect the right of all living things to exist and my eldest son is actually looking for non violating ways to address pest control of all kinds, believe it or not. The world is changing for the better and you are part of that! Thanks again for sharing your extensive knowledge with us!!!
Jacquelyn Diamond Beautifully written! My father also instilled a love of all animals (I should have been a vet or park ranger, lol). This Vet is awesome! Stay safe!
I am so happy for all the great information you in your videos! I always keep a pen and paper near when I watch them, cuz I learn something new from every one of them. Thank you!
there is no reason anybody should ever dislike any of your videos they're just jealous or something like that they are insecure with themselves something is wrong there because you are absolutely astoundingly beautiful and amazing and loving and caring as well beautiful sweet and thoughtful infinitely considerate and soooooo thoughtful amazing human being!!! It was such a gift knowing that you exist!!! Thank YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!! SOOOOOO MUCH MUCH, you sweet sweet precious loving LIGHT OF ALL GOOD AND GOD... 🌼🌸🌼
Thank you for your videos. Our lab has arthritis in his elbows and crepitus. I started treating him with boswellia, cod liver oil, glucosamin/chondroitin with msn but he had an acute episode and had to go to the vet. He has been prescribed Meloxicam 30mcg, tramadol 200mg, (enough to put me off balance), paracetamol 225mgs per day on top of the supplements. He also has cartrofen injection monthly now. My husband and I have worked for the ambulance service in the past and were astonished at the chemical onslaught on an 11 year old dog. He started to vomit , not drink and was constipated so we stopped everything the vet prescribed. He recovered with rice, turmeric, plenty of honey and a little apple cider vinegar and a few senna pods diluted in the mix. He also developed a nasty ulcer on his leg as he was pain transfer chewing. We are treating with dilute apple cider vinegar to clean, gently easing out the fluid and puss and applying honey to the wound twice a day. Everything is improving. I have re-introduced half doses of the meds and of course he's lame again. We are worried about our next visit to the vet and how we argue our case for natural remedies. She hard sells and we're going through a tough time financially. Do you have any advice on how to approach her? Our two lab X 16 month old pups go there too because they give a discount for rescue dogs we can't afford to go elsewhere. Your videos are valuable source of information for us. Beverley, Staffordshire, UK
Lewis seems like such a sweet old friend..reminds me of a couple black labs that my dad and I raised from puppies..their names were Magic and Nina..mu dad was the nicest man that I ever knew and all three of my dear friends are gone from this realm..I have never found peace with their deaths..in order to keep myself from sinking into complete sadness, I have to force myself to believe that they are thriving somewhere across the universe and that I will join them one fine day...if I can have that faith I can live my life.
I appreciate everything you do to help us pet parents out with natural remedies I want my boys to be healthy as long as they can and know I did my best as there parent to keep them healthy and happy.
THANK YOU. Chia seeds are probably one of the best anti inflammatories as well. soak them over night and add them to the food the next day. I've just started using Frankincense topically on my dog, he has a couple of little growths on him and I wasn't sure if he could have it internally but I will try and give it to him in some water now as well. Thank you again for these great videos. Very much appreciated.

I thought you were in your early thirties At the most. Love your channel. I have a border collie mix her name is Freya. Bless you for what you do and the wonderful information you share.. Coming at you from the mountains of Southern Oregon
Thank you so much for these tips. My poodle is 17yrs old and is showing signs of arthritis and stiffness. I'm hoping giving him some of these remedies will help him greatly.

omg - i'm elated i found this video and YOU- dr Jones. what you have given us here is priceless. Esp showing us Louis, your furbaby there; as an example of how to dose.... for big dogs which i have. I'm sick to death of the horrific side effects of Rimadyl and others!!!! My dog is worse now- after starting on them- than she was before starting them. I actually think she suffered a seizure from them. i'll find out tomorrow :( THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH !!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :)
I am going to try these and will update at a later date. I have a Pomeranian. Also Dr. Andrew, what about infusing Frankincense oil? Does or would that help at all? If you help people you should have a donation button. I believe in nature first and if that doesn’t work then conventional. I appreciate your advice as I see many others do. So.....many thanks for all you do to educate us and the angel you are that looks after so many pets.
Thank you so much for your videos, Dr. Jones 👌 I believe in natural approaches. I am so happy to have found a vet ( in my country, which is always nice) who offers this for pets. My Great Dane is 11 1/3 years old! Such a long life for a Dane. So grateful ❤ Been watching many of your videos as you cover many pertinent topics for people as well as pets. Keep up the great work! Much appreciated!
i'm a great dane girl too :) my new pup is somewhere between 5-7yr depending on which paperwork you look at !! she definitely has mobility issues and pain and we will be r/o bone cancer and hoping it's just arthritis. i will be making anti-inflammatory food for her, and want to know homeopathic pain control. my first dane i adopted at 10yr and she lived into her 14th year. Good for you for getting your dane to over 10yr !!! :D hope dane lives a few more healthy years !!
I wanted to thank you for your very helpful advice on more natural, less harmful alternatives that have saved both money and lives. I have one question. Are each of these safe to give every day to dogs for the rest of their lives? I know you said daily, but I just wanted to make sure that did not mean daily for a limited amount of time.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m very appreciative of the time and quality advice for natural alternatives. I’ve forwarded your video to my kennel owner friend.
Bless your heart!! Thank you so much for this, I’m purchasing everything right now to help my Black lab with her Arthritis! Wish I could hug you! Thank you a million!
😃 This is wonderful, thank you! My fur-kids are getting older, & I also do Rescue, so this is very helpful. I always love to hear natural remedies, & you gave a lot of options. This video was very well put together. I like that you both said the dosage, & also printed it on the screen. Thanks again!
I love your channel and recommend you highly to all my local community that live with animals . You look out for our friends so dearly but I am concerned about you as under your eyes and your skin you look unwell . Please take good care of yourself too , much loVe from your subscribers here in Cornwall, UK 🤗🐶🐾♥️🌻
Thank you so much I am afraid of giving things to my day afraid I will hurt him he is only 10 pounds but he has allergies and digestive problems now he seems to have joint tenderness . You help tremendously. I am on fixed income and vet costs take so much away
Thank you so much for this! My 9 year old staffie has hip dysphasia. And just flared up so terribly! I have him on Glucosamine, but it’s only been a few weeks. Will definitely try these! Thanks so much! I wish I had a vet like you near me! Blessings!
I recently lost two dogs...one to carprofen (rimadhyl) and one to meloxicam (metacam). The carprofen, which in was told was a new NSAID vs a new generic form of rimadyl which I would never use, caused hepatic failure; the meloxicam caused ulcers that perforated, causing death. Had I used holistic solutions, i would have gotten equal or better results, and both dogs might still be alive. Thank you for you efforts and information, they really can be lifesavers.
My old pooch has allergies and sneezes, has dry and runny nose and has nose bleeds. Pain around nose , sinus and top of head. What can I give her for inflammation and pain and to relieve her allergies.???
We just adopted a senior arthritic collie so this video is very helpful. Do you recommend that we give all these treatment to him? I've been using hemp oil and fish oil. The fish oil is only 1000 Mg. He weighs 70 lbs so I need to give him 7 tabs of fish oil. What do you think of hemp oil?
Lourdes Ibarra my senior German shorthair pointer (mix?) that I recently inherited was in really bad shape a couple months ago after having a seizure (was the vet's best guess) and couldn't walk much and was just... Really not doing well, and the vet gave tramadol and rimadol for her pain, but it really seemed like she knew she didn't like how she felt when she took it, and I researched it more and started giving turmeric and other things, including hemp seed oil, and she's not on the traditional drugs anymore, and it's been a moral question to me, but I can tell she's happier and healthier off the meds, and she's back to at least as healthy as she was before the seizure, and I feel like the hemp seed oil makes a big difference in her symptoms and she's definately in less pain than she was previously... I kinda just did everything I could as quick as I could at the time, haha... But hemp seed oil is definately gonna stay in her diet :) (my non professional opinion, lol... But just wanted to assure you that you aren't alone in giving it to your dog :))
And my little beagle has always had mild luxating patella in her back knees, and sometimes I can tell she's more stiff and uncomfortable... Little stinker doesn't want to take things that I WANT her to take, haha... So she was fine with fish oil pills with her other beagle siblings (I've got 4 dogs total right now, haha... Full house, but I'm glad to have them, three goofy beagles and their bigger goofy older hound dog sister! ;))... But when I actually get my Abigail to eat the fish oil, it definately does help her joint pain... She's a stubborn gal though haha,so I should be better about applying it to her food more regularly, cause it definately helps with the joints... I feel like hemp seed oil logically should help with joint pain, it's hard to tell in my big girl, I know she definately benefits from hemp seed oil, but my little Abby beagle doesn't seem to get the same benefit to her joint pain with just hemp seed oil, while I can tell there's a big improvement when she has fish oil (cause OF COURSE the easier one to get her to eat isn't as helpful to her haha).... But with my big senior girl, shadow, she seems like fish oil might help some, but hemp seed DEFINATELY does... So maybe it depends on the dog/what the problems are, etc... I've given both oils to them before, ideally I would be currently, the budget is tight though and I gotta order more fish oil pills ;) I'm glad your senior pooch has you! I never thought I would enjoy caring for older dogs the way I've realized I do... It's a labor of love and it's so worth it! :)
Sadly, I had to put my 7 yr old German shepherd to sleep, March 1st. The vet prescribed a high dosage of Cephalexin for a nasal fungal infection. Which did not work since antibiotics only treat bacterial infections. However, my dog got worse, developed an auto immune disease. Was suffering terribly. But last August, I put him on Curcumin and it healed the fungal infection in his nose. Had I known about this sooner, my dog would be laying by my feet now. 21 days , 2000 mg. of Cephalexin is responsible for this tragedy. Thank you Dr. Jones for such useful and loving help.
Dr Jones. Thank u so much for sharing these tips. My pug right now is not eating. She is 11 years old. I made her own food and I gave her too much this brand name called fresh pet . She stop eating. Today I gave her aloe Vera juice bee pollen royal jelly bee propolis. I crushed and mix with the juice.
Love your channel. Knowing your history with Veternarian practice. Its makes you a hero. No high price vet visits. Your wholestic approach for alternative treatments does work. Suggestion...please hold the herbals , meds and other products you suggest up for a better camera view so we may see the spelling of herbs and other medicines we might not know about . Thanks for all your advice. Where I live in a very rural area I'm always concerned about parasites from wildlife. Constant battle. There are tons of feral cats that roam my acreage. I love animals...most all. Except the poisonous critters. I can't watch the cats go hungry so I feed them. This has caused a worm problem. I'm on Social Security and your advice helps do much keeping Vet. Bill's down. Diatoniachious Earth goes into the cats feed daily along my dogs daily treatment as well. I've seen kittens born with respiratory problems. This DE treatment has saved a many sickly kitten. Maybe it was other problems involved with their health issues but after 2-3 weeks, many are looking so much better and get back to their kitten play activities. I take DE too. My own parasite control and toxic metals sprays from the Chemtrails that our government let's shower over us.
Dr. Jones THANK YOU!!! I appreciate all of the information that you share. I am so glad that I have found out about you. You are amazing and we need more Dr.' like you!!!
Veterinary Secrets my 6 month old dogs developed a swollen paw one daly, then a few days later, his leg started to swell. He is not an outside Dog. Only to pee and poop. Took him to vet. Gave him antibiotics.and said to keep him off for 2 wks. And heating pad. Any suggestions?
I have been anti drugs for a long time but my dog is in pain so often now that I am wanting to get him doped up for comfort. Thanks for this video, even though you got your dog on all kinds of drugs it makes it feel less messed up to dope up my dog.
God Bless you Dr. Jones. Thank you for what you do for us to help our fur babies. Your a God send for us Humans and Our fur babies. 👍🙏❤Please keep up the GREAT information that you share with us.
Hi I know this video was posted 6 years ago but was wondering how Lewis made out with the combination of the 2 anti inflammatories? In the video you were just starting them and you were going to update in a month. In info would be greatly appreciated.
Excellent! I've taken and used these on my pets. I Use homeopathic and herbs. You explain it all beautifully, simply healthy love for our pets! Thank you for making these videos.
Wow....Im mentally on my knees thanking you for this great info for the dog and me and our aging joints. Do you have any advice on what I can do to remove the hard gunk on my feisty 15 yr. old York’s cataract eyes? I’m subscribing.
I go to school for holistic nutrition. This is fabulous. Great work. Question- would you be able to suggest a reliable company with good quality natural products for dogs/cats? Thanks!
What of CBD's? My 82lb 13yr old Lab has been taking True Leaf CBD for Hip and Joint for a month and after about 2 weeks I see a difference in how he lays, gets up. There is 0% THC in it so I know he's not high lol. Thanks for the video
As I am an Indian citizen , as scientific names of natural remedies , we don't found here , so better have a common name so I can bought here. So you are explaining very well and giving good advise too , thanks .
I can testify turmeric golden paste helped after all avenues didn't get rid of my shoulder bursitis and RSI ( wrist ). It also helped my dog with his joint issues suspected DM last 4 years . He was 11 then ,and now he is 15 years 3 months . Unfortunately since Sunday after weeks of wonderful walks and looking handsome despite his age , he left leg stopped working . I had just paid £800 for prescribed sedatives and inflammatories . Past experience gave him a bleeding stomach so I am reluctant to give him any and instead up the turmeric dosage and some hemp oil to help with any pain . I since found he has a cut on his paw and swollen leg so it was probably that causing his issues . Poor thing .
Turmeric Curcumin with BioPerine and Ginger for Anti-inflammatory. that is 95% Curcuminoids is the best. The one I use is Dr. Matthew's. It's $20 for a 2 month supply. Just 1 pill a day not 2.
Thank you for all the information, I wish you were my doctor also!! I’m going to take tips for all my inflammation as well! Our furry guy has so much swelling and pain, can’t wait to see how much this helps him! Thank you
Just got my baby back from vet and she just said her hips are super bad and told me she needs to loose weight (7 lbs) from 19.5 (she’s a foodie) but I didn’t think I over fed her that much…I guess so. She also prescribed meloxicam, which I’m not big on giving or taking medicine to my babies or myself. Looking for a healthy homemade food and treat for her. She’s 9. Thanks
Thank you so much Doctor Jones for your very needed advice... you are the bomb diggity and may I ask a question and here goes do you have a book out? And I'd like to buy your vitamins.

So glad I found you. This stuff can be overwhelming. Now I feel like I have a plan to follow. My girl is 8 with a terrible case of arthritis in both hawks. She has had stem cell replacement, has helped some, she was not able to put ant weight on one of her legs, she can put it down a little now. Thanks for you help!
