I’m my opinion, you live in the safest part of the planet. Far from war fighting craziness in the northern hemisphere. It’s hard to bring trouble to your country because it’s so far from most mess. It would be expensive to bring trouble by boat/navy or air. And you’re well insulated by multiple layers of countries to prevent land invasions from the northern hemisphere. It’s like a different world. If you leaders get the economy under control, decrease wealth gap (which will decrease crime), get rid of the corrupted cartels within government, it would be like heaven in all aspects.
@@bcs2k1 yeah you can look at it like that since south Africa is the most unequal country in the world .a country of two nations. The only people who rips the benefits are the ones politically affiliated and don't forget apartheid might be over but thats just on paper racial tension is thick u can cut it with a knife . Now we are becoming a kidnap capital of the world . But i feel where you coming from i mean changing your dollars to rands things are cheap for you just like when i visit Mozambique. Stay here a year you will probably get high jacked even worse kidnapped.
We really need them shem!! The whites who come to South Africa, always want to show the west the bad side of South Africa, always something negative with them
As a South African it always warms my heart to have my country positively shared to a wider African American audience. Thanks for doing an excellent job FREEDOM CHASERS!...... come guys motherland is waiting for you.❤
I'm not a sociologist or anthropologist but I know that those who can more easily adapt don't require an environment close to what they've long been familiar in order to thrive and be fulfilled.
As South African living in Europe , we got it good and we don’t even know that when we home 😢. South Africa is Precious , we destroy by voting the wrong government over and over …& Over😢
Yes, we started in east africa lived there for 8 months, now living in west africa for two years, our next move will be South Africa. thanks for sharing
I just love you guys. Your positive attitude towards my country South Africa is making me love it as well. There was a time I wanted to leave South Africa
Your videos aren't just good for internationals, but good for South Africans too. We are so blessed in this country. I am a white South African, born and bred and have such a deep love of the place I will never leave. Thanks for the great content you two!❤
@@paulthemba9961where I stay we walk at night too...very safe, haven't had a crime incident since 2003 when I stayed in Joburg. Apart from that the "Bradas" don't pose a threat to me. Little boys. Haven't had a power outage in 2 years.
@@truthandjustice6838 you must be living in a high income neighborhood am pretty sure .walking at night in jozi is unheard of even for me and am in law enforcement. I stay in Pta
@@paulthemba9961 Jozi, sadly is an utter disaster. I was hijacked 3 times there, house broken in to etc. It depends on where you stay. I really feel for Joburg, it was a great city once, but I am not seeing much light at the end of their tunnel. Did you know Sunnyside in Pretoria doesn't get loadshedding? It has the highest density of illegals and no loadshedding. Just a fun fact.
@@truthandjustice6838 am in Sunnyside as i type this lots and lots of crime here . I view Sunnyside side the way i view hillbrow dangerous and out of control
I can't even remember when I started binge watching your content and I must say that your level of consistently good information has been maintained throughout. I'd add to your list that we do have a robust banking and business banking system in South Africa, which is growing daily in innovation and professional services. Love you guys and baby girl too.
Again a well informative video. Fam let's push you to 50k subscribers. There are many AA couples settled in South Africa with a larger following and we need a collaboration soon so the other subscribers know that you are in SA. I just love your channel.
Great content as usual guys. This video amplifies the importance of traveling to many African countries before settling. I saw many African Americans who are struggling to cope with the culture, environment and adaptation various African countries. The guys usually just went straight to one country which they heard about on the news or social media. When they eventually get there, they realise it's not as rosey as the picture was painted and end up going back to the States. With this video you guys can help a lot of AA on things to consider before relocating. Love and Peace.
Thanku for this video ♥️♥️ I've watched a few of your videos but this is my first time commenting. I went to Tanzania a couple of years ago it immediately felt like home. But I know there's a difference between vacationing somewhere and living there. I'm from NYC. When I went to Tanzania I decided that I wanted to move there. But through doing research and watching videos like this I think Tanzania is a great place to visit more than to live. This video is making me feel that South Africa might be a better choice for me. Thanku again & have a blessed day ☀️🍃🇿🇦
U welcome dear...there are many AAs who have already made SA their home...I hope u following these channels too, Red Great "8" , Asad Malik PhD, The Jones family channel, The Real South Africa, Ashley in Africa, Changing the Narrative to name a few❤
One thing that really connects me with black Americans as a black South African besides being black & of African descent is the fact that we have almost similar history when it comes to being "racially discriminated", I used to watch those black American slavery movies when I was growing up, it really touched my heart coz I can relate to that as a young black S. A'n. Am in my late 40's now but that history really connects us with black Americans but hey thats all in the past Welcome to the NEW South Africa, yes this country is not perfect but it is alive with possibilities!!
Most South Africans are enthusiastic and hardworking and willing to learn. Ultimately we all want the same thing.. to live a good life, make a difference and provide for our families. Shalom Freedom Chasers 💫
I'm scheduled to retire in March 2025 , I want to leave for the motherland, so I'm praying that when I visit first I will be able to figure out where I want to be starting out. First I wanted to go to Tanzania but things happen there , so south Africa maybe a choice. I will see if I can really afford to retire in 2025. Shalom 😊
@@groundhogguns5828 Why, please I want to know both the good and the bad, as I am also planning to relocate to Africa. At this time Kenya is my choice but my understand SA is more of an easier transition, I am rethinking. Please elaborate a little more, I need to know both the good and the bad. thank you
Hey guys..You were on point. There are many benefits traveling to South Africa. I wanted to also share some similarities with South Africa and the US including ride share. There is uber and public transportation services. Also you can rent a car as I do when I come to sa. I've made SA my number travel destination since 2014. The country is so beautiful and worth traveling and exploring. I have visited pretty much the entire country without any problems and met new people..I also visited Zimbabwe as well. Between Zimbabwe and SA, SA is more structured and modernized. Every African countries have their plus and negative side but SA is more advanced and no language barrier.
Thank you for an enlightening video. Had no idea that African American souls are looking to relocate to the home land.. those that choose to do so... happy travels and May you find your safe space where ever you land..
I don't really like this comment. You don't generalize people by saying other Africans won't like this video. I am one of the other Africans but I love this video. Please don't say this again we Africans love ourselves 🥰🥰❤️❤️
True but other countries 😔 they angry and l don't why because south African we don't say anything when American choose other African countries l am trying to phatom but l can't 😅😅hjo
Shalom Family welcome to South Africa! Absolutely love this video and so appreciate the positivity. I was born here and no leaving any time soon, There's definitely so much to be grateful for and I am really blessed to be here. I know no country is perfect but compared so so many countries we are very blessed. ❤❤❤
Great videos guys, its so refreshing when people are positive about our country. We have some major challenges and at times its so easy to fall into the negative mind set and not see the positive things that S.A has to offer. ❤❤❤ your content

You make me appreciate South Africa more, we often take for granted the great things we have. Thank you for always providing healing messages. Love Always ❤
Very true, you can go very far with a Dollar here compared to many western countries. A friend of mine spent 6months in the use in 2020, and another 3 months in 2021, they say life is a bit costly that side. Hope you find your tune in SA....as a South African, I love this place ❤❤❤

AA should use The Real South Africa Luxury Tourism Company to make their reservations for travel to SA. The Real South Africa has a RU-vid channel to reference. You won’t be disappointed. Have fun! You’re welcome ☺️
Thank you for this video. It really hurts that Black Americans are being scammed when traveling to certain African countries. When Africans come to the United States, we welcome them with open arms and don't run game on them. Happy to hear South Africa is a good place to start.
Very sad indeed. Which is why even I as an African (South African specifically), I'd rather not even go to any other African countries (with the exception of maybe Botswana and Namibia). I don't want to be bothered with people who'll want to run game on you simply because you don't speak their language or they hear an accent.
Your content keeps delivering. Sorry for some of the hate you got when choosing where to settle. Would love to point out a few unique experiences and places for you that aren't that well known. Love from Boston, Cape Town. 🇿🇦❤️
The problem with you is to assume that we all should live life by American standards. Anything contrary to what you have lived to see in the USA ain't up to the standards. We can't adopt everything western. Africans need to chart their own path to excellence.
untapped💙fair assessment as always! You should do a future post on top 5 countries in Africa, once you have fully explored the continent. I live in South Africa but I can't really give you my top 5, I should really make a plan to visit other countries, budget is super tight , needs a plan.
South Africa 🇿🇦 is cheaper in most items. Your dollars strech 4 times. Average medical aid for a family is hardly R6000 which is $290 per month. You get us to best hospitals and clinics.
South Africa is the most free place on the world, you are basically left to do your thing within the limits of decency. Everybody will try to tell you what to do , you don't have to😂
I love you guys channel ..very informative...I would like to know if there is a digital nomad visa in SA or one in the making...if so can you guys do a video about it ..thanks..and keep up the great work!👍🏾👍🏾
We hate America, we are trying to escape, but we love America stuff, we can not escape America really. Same thing happened to me in Mexico. I am not able to find many things here. Even ingredients to cook my favorite foods, products for my skin, hair. If you find them, the price is sometimes 4 times the price you would pay in America. I lost 8 pounds in 4 months. I am living in Mexico. I don't like tortillas, which is what Mexican eat three times a day. I need to eat my rice, and my red beans, which I don't find in Mexico. I miss my rice and red beans so nuch, i feel i am going to a breakdown lol. It is like i have a withdrawal. It is not a joke. Some day, I cried. I have learned that this is very hard not be able to eat food you are used to. I won't never move to a country anymore, unless I am sure I am going to love the food. I criticized a girl who got a job contract for two years in South Korea. She quit and left the country after 2 moths because she said she doesn't like the food and she couldn't find the ingredients and spices to cook the foods she was used to eat at home. When I heard that I criticized her..Now, I am going through the sane thing. I need this girl an apology 🤣
In South Africa 🇿🇦 they have street address if you want to buy things online because most people from diaspora say in Africa there are no street address.
New subscribers, lovely content I would love to connect with you both further, I own a boutique hotel in Jamaica and live in Jamaica now but have been seriously considering getting a home in South Africa and also buying a boutique hotel there.
