Hey there! We're the Freedom Chasers, a family of three traveling across Africa with our baby girl. Our mission is to explore, learn, and share the truth about this beautiful continent. We believe that Africa has so much more to offer than what is often portrayed in the media.
Through our videos, we hope to inspire you to see the world differently and to challenge your preconceptions about Africa. We share our experiences and insights on travel, family life, and personal growth. We also highlight the amazing people, cultures, and places we encounter along the way.
Join us on our journey as we chase freedom, truth, and adventure. Thank you for watching!
The one with the tractor the guy says that him and his wife has some marital problems and the English doctor in town said he must do something to "attract her" miss understood by the Afrikaans farmet as " a tractor"
Our education system advocates English through out, the only subject you'll use kiswahili is kiswahili, other than that you'll never use kiswahili in any other subjects.
Ok Trevor is wrong! In Amerikkka racism has NEVER stopped being TOTALLY in your face! They NEVER stopped deleting Black folks on a DAILY basis just BECAUSE they Black! They NEVER stopped putting Blackfolks in prison on fake/false charges on a daily basis! EVERY year they STILL have Blackfolks getting LYNCHED and nobody ever goes to jail! EVERY year you STILL have whyte girls LYING saying Black men GRAPED them and dudes going to jail for YEARS only to find out LATER the whyte girl LIED and NOTHING every happens to them! 🤔
I'm thrilled to see the Freedom Chasers, my favorite couple vloggers, returning to vlogging after being away for so long. I hope everything is great for you in America. Please continue sharing amazing content. Sending love from South Africa. Shalom! 🙏🏽 😊🇿🇦🇿🇦
In my opinion, Afrika is indeed a country. Most of the national borders on the Continent were created by Europeans at the Berlin Conference. NONE of the current "Nations or Countries" are older than 70 years old, not even Ethiopia (It was Abyssinia prior to WWII) Ethiopia is a Greek word and was applied differently in ancient times than it is today. The U.S.A. has 50 very powerful STATES (Each governor has more power over their STATE, than the President has over the U.S.) I think this is the way that we need to start viewing the Continent in order to unify our minds and spirits and be more successful on the global stage. Let's focus on what we have in common more than we focus on our differences. Last note, Australia is BOTH a continent AND a country, so being a continent does NOT prevent a place from being a country. Peace and Love.
Another significant difference is that in South Africa, a minority enforced and benefited from the racist laws. In contrast, in America, the racist laws benefited the majority, reflecting the population makeup of the country.
UMMM, I think you may need to do a little more research on RACISM, For one thing you stated, "the slavery thing!" Well, that "slavery thing" happened to your ancestors AND we are still feeling the evil that was done to our ancestors right now but just not in chains. There were over 200 million of our ancestors that were slaughtered so that is definitely more than the reference "the slavery thing." in addition, also look up the HISTORY of what those people did to the African people in SOUTH AFRICA which included STEALING their homes and pushing the indigenous people out of where they lay their heads just like they did to our people in the land of what is known as America! They SLAUGHTERED THEM. Trevor has some knowledge, and he speaks it freely, but he too needs to do more research. Now, this is just a short list of what has been done and still exists just for edification: List of things that are done to people of color: Red lining, GI Bill DENIAL, Lynchings, Jim Crowe, Prison System, Drugs in our communities, 3 Strike Law..ETC. Just as a foot note: our people are still enslaved all over the world in some shame or form, again it's just not physical chains.
We are well aware of what happened during slavery. This video is us reacting to what he said and agreeing or disagreeing with the points that he made. We did not speak on anything besides what he said because that was not the point of this video.
Our national anthem is in 5 languages for inclusivity. We have 12 national languages. So we are very diverse. Languages include Xhosa(isiXhosa), Zulu(isiZulu), Sotho(seSotho), Afrikaans and English. It was also a.strugle song during the Apartheid era as a.prayer to God to bless our land. It really means God Bless Africa.
Better get excited. USA is bidding for rights to host the World cup in 2031. Here are a few thing. No passing forward. That results in a scrum. Scrums also happen when the ball is knock on, meaning it spills forward form your hand. That is why kicking to a player is also a thing. But the player needs to be behind the ball when it is kicked otherwise he is off side. A scrum is that weird thing that you didnt understand. Is a way to get the ball back in play after a forward pass or knock on. A scrum is when 8 of the biggest and strongest players from each teams get together to form the formation you saw there. They ingage each other and then the ball gets put in. You may not push before the ball is in the scrum. As soon as the ball is in, each team tries to push the other off the ball or hook it back with their feet. So sometime you can win your own scrum even though you are not the dominant team. If no team is dominant over the other, they will hook it to the back for play to continue. It very technical and the total weight of each scrum is usuall close to a ton. Those big 8 guys are not just strong. They are heavy. Each well over 100kg or 220 pounds. Hope this helps.
