Hey this year Melo might get a ring down in P-Town.. Loved your reference there. Just watched about seven of your videos that were amazingly helpful to me. Emailed my business partner all the links to encourage and watch. I love what you're doing with your channel and I really believe in the efficacy of your content. As a fresh college grad looking to possibly do an LLC for a consulting agency, VAs will be the next big thing to look at for us!
Really like this idea of being able to double your business hours. Smart way to look at it and true! Also you're so right that many entrepreneurs have control problems! This is a great way to learn how to have a team before diving into the more complicated and challenging aspects of team building - fostering good relationships, trust, etc.
Inner Core Ari spot on. Building a high functioning VA team in many ways is the natural first step to building a high performing full-time team. Many of the fundamentals of management and building culture apply. Do you have a team yet? If not, what do you think is a small task you could delegate to help yourself save time?
I've been watching this channel for a while - the production quality on your videos is excellent! Super sleek. I'm not anywhere close to hiring a VA at the moment, but I know I will struggle to pull the trigger once the time comes. I'm just such a perfectionist that I really don't like other people doing my work for me, because I want it done exactly how I envision it. 😂 I completely agree that it is the smart decision though!
Alex, thanks for watching and for sharing your experiences. You can always start small when getting started! It can be as simple for example finding a person to help you research some popular personal finance topics, or help with transcribing your videos. It might help to think about it less like people are doing the work for you and more at the beginning as people helping you start on first base instead of home plate. Letting go is a tough thing! I'll go over more of that in my next video, when I go over five signs to watch out for that it's time to hire a VA. Thanks again for watching!
One of the toughest things when starting out on a platform like RU-vid is consistency -- VAs really go a long way for me to get that consistency. Time is the great equalizer for everyone, so it's all about using our time the best way we know how! Let your systems work for you, not against you.
Once I can get my brand big enough I certainly will consider a VA. SEO and marketing is so important to me but yet so time-consuming. Your vids are generally so interesting - love this niche mate
My biggest piece of advice is start early in building up your VA team. Define what that point is of getting your brand big enough. Often times you should be hiring slightly ahead of the curve of when you think you need one. When you think you need one, you’ve generally already needed one for some time.
I'm enjoying this VA series that's been going on Will! I can definitely see a lot of the pros and how a VA would save a lot of time -- but I guess more so extending that time instead!
Ryan - thanks for sharing the feedback and I'm glad it's been a helpful series for you. I'll be wrapping it up next Monday with five signs to watch out for that it's time to hire a VA, so hope to hear from you on if you identify with one of those signs then!
@@PierceJPeterson Haha love it -- glad it helped -- be on the look out for my last VA video next week where I go over five signs it's time to hire a VA.
@@PierceJPeterson Good topic today -- would consider doing a little series there as there are other topics related to that to talk about (I.e. backdoors, 401K matching, etc.)
Excellent explanation; sometimes in order to focus on your core business processes and activities, it's necessary to get some administrative help. For instance a photographer may hire a VA to help with bookings, emails, and phone calls so the photographer can hone in on their work. I enjoyed watching!
Business Basics with Mr. Leong exactly! Great application of how one might use a VA for their photography business. Focus on working on your strengths with your limited time! Thanks for watching.
Good question. Not much if you can get your VAs on the right schedule with you -- the main drawbacks would be the benefits to a full-time employee. Being able to see them (in non-global situation times), communicate face to face, etc.
