My cat saves me everyday from my depression and anixety and I saved her from being put down. We saved each other and that's pure love. I couldn't imagine my life without her.

I got my cat (an 11 year old grandma) from a shelter about a year ago. The social distancing and constant home office has been really good for our relationship. She has become a lot happier and a lot more trusting. Comes to show that spending time with your pet is so important.
cats need to be taught from an early age that belly rubs are safe, otherwise they will react like this. I adopted my Jinx at a year old and even now, after 7 years, she won't let me touch her belly.
@@diefakeonceler It does depend on the cat, my parents have a cat that will roll on his back and spread his legs begging for belly rubs, he LOVES them and will lie there forever if you keep going. I've found male cats are more likely to enjoy bely rubs, but female cats not so much, might have to do with nursing kittens perhaps.
SevCaswell we had an old male cat who loved his belly rubs. after he passed we got a 2 and half year old male and he does not want anyone touching his belly lol. Our female is indifferent. I think every cat is different
Our cat followed us home almost 5 years ago. It took him a good year to trust us and come into our home. He now displays all of the above traits. Patience and consistency are key.
My cat Maui adopted me about a year and a half ago. Now she's my bestest friend in the whole world ❤️.It took a long time for her to trust me. But among other things she does let me run her belly AND blow raspberries on it. When we go to bed she lays on my chest and just before she falls asleep she reaches up to my face and very gently touches my cheeks. She has a beautiful Spirit.
Being a Mom to 5 furbabies...I never sit alone or sleep alone! 😻😻😻😻😻. Mine do all these things....I have a beautiful, trusting fur family. But there are times I would like to be alone... hehehe.... always holding my books up higher than a kitty, or my IPad.... and now I can’t fall asleep unless 3 are on me purring! I guess that is like always having a fan running... their purring is relaxing !
Helen c every cat is different. I have a male who follows us around everywhere and as soon as we sit down he’s on us. Our female is a bit more independent but she still will come lay down on a bed beside or sit on our laps occasionally. But it all depends on the cat’s personality and how they’re raised
I have two fur babies and they are so loving! Selena keeps Following me everywhere and kneads, sits and sleeps on me whenever she can! It’s such a joy and blessing to receive their love 😻😻
He tends to be around us all the time At first we decided not to allow him to sleep with us in our bedroom we kept the door closed but as time went on that changed 🤣 but now we allow it he usually goes to sleep anywhere in the house 🏡 so it all worked out well as he is as now settled in 👌🏿🙏🏿👍🏿👍🏿🐈☺️
I have three cats and my oldest sweetcakes trusts me completely as she was a stray and I took her in as a kitten we have been through so much together 2 house moves 3 sets of litters she's 12 now her daughter Millie is 6 she loves nibbling my fingers and lips and her daughter boo boo is 4 who follows me everywhere stays with me and sleeps with me I love them so much they are my babies my whole world I love cats xx
My new kitten wants to be on my shoulder at all times. I had to do the dishes yesterday with her perched there. If i put her on the floor she the will climb me like a tree until she reaches her point of settling on me again.
I had one cat that loved his belly to be rubbed. He was a very sweet and friendly cat. I had a very special bond with him. He was a stray cat when I saw him first in my family. He also bonded with my family,too but, not like with me. He also became best friends with our other cat quickly. He was a very gentle cat.

My cat usually lies on my lap on the couch when I watch television. He also lays on my arm when I'm in bed he rubs against me sometimes He usually brings me big mice although sometimes they are half eaten lol He usually rolls on the ground and he allows me to rub the top half of his belly He does knead me when I'm laying down He usually perks up (does a trill and purrs) and his tail goes up and curves a little I've known him for 3 years. He's four years old and I love him with all my heart
Life has been tough for my cat, Jinx, as we've been getting lots of intact males passign through and trying to use the house as a feed station and rest area. Jinx is spayed, so they're not here for her, but she gets very very territorial and there are regular fights. She has been so wound up but today I managed to get her to lie on my stomach and she finally relaxed enough to sleep for more than a few minutes, and didn't startle to all the minor sounds, like birds or my neighbours moving garden funiture.
SevCaswell,I had a solid black male cat named Jynx a long time ago. He came to us on the 4th of July over twenty years ago. We think he got startled by the fireworks and ran away from his home then ended up in our back yard that evening. He started hanging out with us so we began feeding him. 😌We thought Jynx was a female until we took him to the vet. The doc checked him out and told us that he had been neutered. Jynx was a real sweet cat!

I just got a new cat 2 days ago, shes around 6 and was around other vicious cats that seemed to chase her. She's skidish with her environment but loves all kinda of pets and has already rubbed all over my fiance and myself and has shown us her belly on multiple occasions and loves to have her belly rubbed. its nice to have reassurance that she's feeling safe with us
I can do any thing to my cat, I feel he loves me a lot, he watches me in Bath lays on bed with me, let's me belly Rub him. Nibbles my fingers and purrs. And he blinks and head butts me. I think we had a special bond.

My cat Sophie loves to spend time with me. She would sit next to me on my bedand whenever I'm not there she would lay on my bed. She rubs on anything I own but she doesn't give me a dead mouse but my old cat did in the past when I was 12. Sophie was originally my sister's cat she is like my best friend and gives me support.

On a long car trip, my cat would not calm down unless she was touching me. It was hard because the car was full of stuff and it was difficult to find a comfortable position, but I finally got her arranged so her head was lying on my shoulder. She trusted me so much, she settled down and went to sleep.
i adopted a street cat who was almost dead she was lying in the bushes near my house under the ticks she had pieces of fur that were gone she was very skinny and now she is a healthy sweet cat with a good life
If I wake up in the middle of the night my cat will start purring. I think he does this to help me go back to sleep. But it doesn’t help, because he purrs really loud.
I found this lost kitty in the alley way behind my apartment that would come up to my back porch area and meow at me. I finally managed to get him to trust me and took him in, please don't judge me but I named him Indica lol. He's really cool and chill, he likes Tuna and I've been feeding him chicken cat food. I'm going to get some salmon treats or salmon cat food for him sometime and see how he likes that. He's so fluffy and he has helped me with my depression. I'm glad he chose me to be his family!
I blew it with yet another cat. We have A LOT of stray cats and I can only take in so many. One of them likes to jump in my lap and claw me while I sit for a long time. He hangs with me for as long as he can, but I could swear I saw him run off with a smile. Lol

I adopt 4cats from street The first one came to my house while she was pregnant. Carried her kitten n tried to find food in the heavy rain in front of my house. She gave birth to 2 kittens n now live the best life in my house. Became a funny cats. The last I save a kitten from street nearly struck by car. Now he is the most loveable . Patient. My Kitty always follow and opens the bathroom door when I forget to close it sometime stupid door doesn’t close sometime! And when I sit on my legs she always jumps on my back and sleeps witch is hard to move tho.
My cat greets me at the bottom of my steps every night when I get home from work. I usually have to gently nudge her to get her going back up them though because she always wants to sit down there and try to rub while I try to navigate the steps lol. I'd rather not trip and fall even though my floor is carpeted
I held my cat since she was only a week old after having her saved from dying in a gas station parking lot. Now she hates everybody int he house except for me mom. I'm just glad I have a pug that loves me rn.

My kitten follows me everywhere in the house, from the day I brought him home. Lays om my chest, on my shoulder, purrs a lot, crys if I don't pick him up, so so cute. So layed back. I guess you would expect that from a mixed between ragdoll and Persian English long hair. He is white and beautiful natured. He would be so great with someone suffering from anxiety or depression.

I take care of a neighborhood cat that always brings me mice, squirrels, baby bunnies and the like about once a week. When I got back from a 2 week vacation, she brought me 2 mice a day for about a week. I think she brought me extra mice because she thought I was hungry because she hadn't seen me in a while!
I love my cat very much even if she can be sassy she shows true love and affection so I show it back she loves playing with my old pants strings that were pulled out or even little rappers I’ll grab one of the ends and just move it around and she’ll go crazy i’ve had her almost my whole life and I couldn’t imagine it without her
I got 2 barn kittens on July 1st (it’s July 7th right now) and they already trust me a lot. Before this week, they have had very little human contact and were very timid and shy. Now, one meows for pets and attention and scratches on the back door (even though when I let her inside she runs back out since she is a outside cat). The other is always flopping down on my foot and purring when I pet her, but she is really sick, she has had a upper respiratory infection which can turn into pneumonia if not treated. She has gone a week while having it but we finally took her to a vet today to get some anabiotic for her, but she may not make it. 😢❤️ The man we got her from just had them in a barn and left them alone to take care of themselves (which means no vets) so they bred like crazy and of course diseases spread

Not a cat person but had a stray in the garden and then found out her aggression towards me was to protect her kittens!! I heard her defending them at night against Tom cats!! So basically now I have 4 cats😂😂🙈🙈....but having them from kittens I love them so much and after shitty day at work I smile just thinking about seeing them!! Animals are amazing..
My cat saves my life. I have seizures and my cat has learned to warn me of seizures before they come on. It makes it easier to prepare for it. She also always wants to be with me and talk to me. She also loves to knead me a lot and purrs very loud. She always walks through the living room with her tail curled up on the tip and shakes her butt. She winks at me and lowers her head for me to pet her. Also, my cat loves my home cooked food. I share little bits of chicken with her but I still make sure she eats her own food. Its not healthy to feed cats our over produced food. We humans eat fatty diet's and cat's need more protein and carbs. They also need more vitamin A than we do.
