1. Research the company … show them you understand what they do 2. Read the job description 3. Be a fast learner … give examples 4. You are looking for a career 5. Be a team player … shares the credit 6. Ask good questions … if we were to come to an arrangement where you offered me the position how do you see me fitting in around here and what could I expect over the next 6 months? 7. Be passionate … body language counts

I'm 55 and I feel I'm just hitting my stride in my career field. I am in a solid position currently with a great company but your videos make me want to go out and interview for positions within my company at the next level and beyond. Great stuff!

I can see why I’m getting callbacks from past interviews. My problem is I try so hard to say the right thing that I don’t relax

When I started job search 3 months ago, I did have some interviews, but none of them extended to me an offer. Then I though I should learn interview skills from others and found 3 popular people including Don teaching interviews in RU-vid. By trying all of them, I decided to just follow Don’s strategies since Don teaches people by thinking from interviewers’ perspective and it means that you should answer questions based on what interviewer exactly looks for and wants to hear, instead of you though you have so called “good answers”. By following this strategy and watching many of Don’s videos, I finally got a job which I wanted to take. I would like to say, for job seekers, Don’s videos not only work, but work very well. If you follow those techniques and tips from them, your job offer will be soon.

The interviewer's perspective is that they are setting you up to fail, so that they can eliminate you. They want the most experienced, compliant and cheapest candidate.

Could you do this from an internal job view point? How do you sell yourself when yore moving positions to not look like you're hopping positions?

@DonGeorgevich Should you initiate asking questions at the end of the interview, if the hiring manager doesn't ask "any questions for me?"

Question, I’m 61, still want to work, management in facilities, but is there anything to do to appear, or make myself younger. Unfortunately it’s about age as well.

"You are my Lord and Master". "I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy". "Where would I like to be in five years? Well, I hope I am as intelligent, as wise, and as wonderful as you are, Sir". "How high do you want me to jump?" "I'm not interested in being paid. I just want to work 24/7, like you do, just to be the best. Because work is the most important thing in life". "Work life balance is for wimps".
