Here in kigali Rwanda we have team and we are now giving them 200mbs/s or unlimited for companies so it's depends on where you are but soon we are coming in Nigeria too
So how do I buy it , just go on the site & order it? How exactly do I even set the thing up ? It cost $599 for the hardware I really wanna make sure I'm not losing out on money
@@MORE_BEANS_PLZ I had it for a year and a half, almost two years soon. So I would say it’s good, but of course you would have to pay it monthly, not really a problem if you have a job
first there shouldn't be a throttle no matter how much I use it and second f their routers. I want a plug in the starlink itself so i can connect my personal mesh router setup to their router.
For the residential plan it depends on where you live and the demand for starlink in that area. Low demand is 90 and high demand is 120 in the United States
Thanks for your content. I have paid the deposit fee $42.16. It's 2weeks now and I haven't heard anything from them on when to complete payment, delivery etc. can you help?
My friend had so slow connection from Starlink that he could barely browse the web. Seems like one more of Elons overpromises. My friend canceled his subscription and switched to cable. That has been rock solid
If you are in Nigeria, the monthly cost for the subscription is N38k and you get the hardware which is currently on a 20 % discount for about N320k cost of shipping included
Bro starlink should provide more for the money you guys are paying. Entry fee???? it's horse shit, bro starlink should have free satellite phone calls, unlimited or whatever as a package deal for all that money
That's fine. You simply seek out another video with someone that speaks English with the accent you understand 🙂. It's not that difficult. If you can't do that, then learn to read. Captions are there
Im confused what voting has to do with starlink???? is that the reason we decided to watch you???? Please focus on the subject matter. I was impressed till i got to the end. Im watching this after the election ffs
Instead of you to so a simple research, the best you could say is "don't lie to people". Maybe leaving a reasonable comment is beyond you. I made this video long ago. You could simply say "in this region there's no data cap yet". I literally showed from Starlink's website their fair usage policy. While that is not yet applicable to this region, it exists. Next time try reading up a little. It won't do you any harm
What do you expect Elon musk did not launch those satellites like that so they could have a customer support area sitting waiting for people to call because their Internet isn't working properly you wouldn't have ANY nternet if it wasn't for him so it's like this: if it works use it if, it doesn't work then too bad.
Lol why so aggressive? And what brought you to the conclusion that without Elon Musk "we" won't have any internet? You must think we live in the middle of the Amazon forest.
I can explain. So, in more specific terms, what he’s said so far is that the devices(dish and router) require constant power supply and obviously consumes quite a good amount of power so therefore, you can’t use a small power supply like a power bank. You’ll require a generator or an inverter. And in terms of speed, it’s pretty fast with downloads(the download speed tells gives info about how fast your isp can pull data from web servers to your home. Y’know like when you load photos on insta or watch RU-vid videos). It’s measured in megabits per second(Mbps). For context, 1 byte of data is equal to 8 bits so whatever number your seeing on your Speedtest results, just divide it by 8 and you’ll know how much MB(megabytes) of data you can download from the internet every second. Same applies for the upload speed which is basically the opposite of download. It gives info about how much data you can upload onto the internet at a time and it’s also measured in megabits per second. As explained in the video, uploads speed are significantly slower than downloads probably due to bandwidth issues and the isp compromising on upload speed because it’s not demanded as much as downloads. I’m not sure. This is one of the downsides of owning this device. He also mentioned that the internet plan which costs about 38,000NGN monthly has a 1 terabyte data cap, which means that after you exhaust 1000GiB of data(which is equivalent to 1TiB), the speed of the internet will be reduced significantly. Hope that’s helps.
you must suck at English comprehension if this guys slight accent makes you unable to understand what he’s saying. I bet you’re one of those people who complains that you don’t know what a certain word means when it’s spelled one letter incorrectly. “Check out my new computor” You: Ugh what’s he talking about, what’s a computor?? I’ve never heard of one of those before.” Like bruh it’s literally common sense to anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together what he’s trying to say. Quit acting like you can’t understand simple words just because they’re misspelled one letter or the speaker has a slight accent. This accent wasn’t heavy at all, if you can’t understand this you’ll never be able to leave your town. You go to a different state and you’ll be lost cuz their accent will completely destroy your ability to listen. Ever listened to someone from New York? Atlanta? Anywhere Deep South? New Mexico? Oklahoma? If you can’t understand this accent, you’d be lost in a completely foreign world in any of these estates and their accents/dialects.😂
