I've only had a PlayStation 2 (and 1 I think) when I was very young, afterwards I always played Nintendo consoles. I may be a Nintendo fangirl but I hate it when people say "(Gaming company) is better!" In the end, it's just a video games, games only get better every year, there's no winner or loser in my opinion. Some PlayStation games are good, some are bad. Some Nintendo games are good, some are bad. There's just no true better one, it's all about having fun.

I’m a straight up Nintendo fanboy all the way. Not only do I like them for their creative games, I also like their music as well. The music they make are mostly ones they compose on their own. I listen to them everyday and never grow tired of them. They always make my day.

Dude, just because the joysticks are in a different place doesn't mean that whoever plays it is a loser! I've been playing the Switch and the PS4 from 2018 and I think they're both amazing controllers! Stop trying to change people's opinions!

I want to point out that I'm a fan of both Nintendo and Playstation, and while there are points that Nintendo beat Playstation... this video is not doing a good job for it. *For your 1st point:* Sony games actually had a story, so the franchises couldn't last as long, while most of those original Nintendo games were more about game play than story. Also, PS2 sold more than the Wii and people played TONS of games on it. The games for Sony had just as much if not more popularity than Nintendo's games when they came out. Nintendo just has longer lasting franchises. And that's not a surprise since Nintendo is older than Playstation and they made games back when story didn't matter for games, giving them freedom that most Playstation titles could not have since Sony went into the market when mere gameplay wasn't enough anymore with the advent of 3d graphics. But Sony over the years was kinda king in all the types of games it had with Kingdom Hearts, God of War, Jak and other Naughty Dog games, Ratchet and Clank, etc. It sold consoles and even beat Nintendo for a while, making them play catch up. *For your 2nd point:* Nintendo had a victory with ONE game. And that game was played on many Android devices... some of them made by Sony... but for most downloaded game, Nintendo did win, but that doesn't mean they beat them over all in mobile market. *For your 3rd point:* Yes, Nintendo has legends working on their games that stayed with them... but those people worked with Nintendo WAY before Playstation was even a thing... that's just something from being older... *For your 4th point:* Many of Nintendo's older games didn't have patches cause they were also simpler and had less complications. PS4 games on the other hand are often BIGGER... meaning some flaws that are less noticeable in development can more easily happen. And many Nintendo games got delayed for YEARS before they finally came out perfect. *For your 5th point:* Nintendo cheated Sony... but Sony then turned that against them... so that was Sony's win -_- *For your 6th point:* ... you don't have one....... or a 7th.... though I'm guessing the argument for casuals and the longer history which you merged with other points was probably supposed to count.. but it just didn't work with HOW you presented it. ____________________________ Here is what I would consider a top 7 for how Nintendo has Sony beat: *1st point:* Nintendo is an older company with a larger history (see, I made it a point in itself which helps with some later arguments). *2nd point:* Being an older company, it has famous staff that stayed with the brand and are more iconic and connected with Nintendo. *3rd point* Nintendo is solely a gaming company while Sony dips it fingers in a little bit of everything, meaning Nintendo only needs to focus on the games. It also has a gaming brand for it's games that Sony just won't have for it's games. *4th point:* Also, because of the age of the company and the fact that it is solely a gaming company, Nintendo was able to start games in an era where story didn't matter as much, making better gaming icons, giving them more freedom with their characters and make them more long lasting and iconic than anything Sony could do and the characters are better merged with the brand. *5th point:* Nintendo also innovates more than Sony; I mean, sure, not everything done by Nintendo was purely done by Nintendo, but they made those innovations famous and workable for games better than anything else and the rivals copied them. *6th point:* Nintendo is also the king of handhelds. Not only do their handhelds sell the best, but they have a longer history and are the only real market in handheld gaming. Heck, the 2 biggest handhelds being sold right now are BOTH owned by Nintendo. *7th point:* And finally, because of their innovation, their sole focus on gaming, their history and the hand held market, Nintendo can connect with casual and pro and even non-gamers just more than any other company. It has nostalgia, it has cheap consoles, it has gimmicks that all people can get behind (and when the other companies try to copy them, people already got Nintendo's stuff). But that's not the only reason Nintendo can get with casual, pro and non-gamers, but their games work for all types. Pokemon Go was a hit for long time Pokemon fans and those that long left along with those that just wanted to follow the craze. Mariocart is the racing game that is great and complex enough for pros and easy enough for newbies that it can be fun for everyone. Super Smash Bros is a fighting game that is just as pro as any other fighting game, but is more fun as well as complex for the pros and easy for the casuals at the same time. It's the only system that perfectly fits all audiences: kids, adults, elderly, gamers/non-gamers...

Both PlayStation and Switch are great! Both have amazing games and they complement one another. I think the war should be endet now, we are all gamers!

Also the story about Nintendo PlayStation had one more element to it, Nintendo partnered with Phillips instead of Sony. Feeling betrayed, Sony of Japan didn’t know what to do. Until they met with the people over at Sega of America. Sega would teach Sony as much as they could about Gaming and making consoles. They managed establish a strong connection would’ve made the Sega PlayStation. Until Sega of Japan decided to turn that idea down and insult Sony. So after being mocked and with the knowledge they had gotten from working with Sega of America, they made the PlayStation in 1996. Sega inadvertedly also played a role in making the OG XBox and N64 as well, thanks to the selfishness of Sega of Japan who had a lot of good idea coming to them but turned each of them down.

Super Mario Odyssey Speedrunners: You have to get a physical 1.0 cartridge of the game, if you already had the game, factory reset your entire console, then you have to close the internet connection on the switch so the switch won't have access to the internet every time you want to run the game.
