The refs didn’t think anything had to be done in the moment. It was lebron who called the league office himself and asked for a suspension. The league wasn’t going to do anything because the refs didn’t call a flagrant on the court because green was just pushing him off of him. Which anyone would do. Lebron cried to the league and the officials were definitely keeping them in the games with some bullshit calls early in games 6 and 7.
