i always look forward to watching the UConn Womens basketball games at the end of each season, knowing they will always be in the thick of it. i just hope they can match the tempo and shot attempts of many other teams, there will be alot of 3 point attempts.

I agree, but I think I was even more impressed with Aubrey Griffin. She has a Michael Jordan like flare to her. Her athleticism is incredible... silky smooth cutting to the basket, and she even found her outside shot, albeit she doesn't put it up very often. I really hope she comes back next year as I think she will be a major force.

Agreed. They have been unbelievable. So good around the basket. Makes you wonder how the championship would have played out last year with Dorka as they were outrebounded badly and Fudd was out. Lets see what they can do if they are full strength with a possessed Nika Muhl.

@@nicholasdoura4371 Yeah, she's one of those who, when on, is awesome, but too often she's invisible. I suspect the back surgery and the loss of a season had a negative impact, and hope that next year will be her 'consistent' break-out season.

SC is a hell of a team, and the tandem of Boston and Cordoso is a major challenge, but if they can keep the level of play going for the tourney, and Azzi finds her stroke, they could go far. Then again, they've also been known to collectively disappear this year (albeit a very tough year for the whole team), so I'm tempering my expectations, but I find myself far more hopeful than I was a week ago.

Dorka showed mobility in this game that she I didn't see in any previous game. She was changing directions while dribbling and even had a kind of combined euro-step/through. And she's making more of the dinky layups she used to miss before. If both she And Aliyah can maintain this or even step it up, they'll have at least an even chance of getting to the NCAA Finals (again). Of course, the guards and forwards all need to have a good game, too. Go Huskies!!

If Villanova EVER wants to win the Big East, they're going to need more than Dalce...6'5" or more post player. So disappointed in Maddy, the UConn defense was not the reason her shooting was off, she just missed way too many shots.

Stanford has proven they can lose to a lot of teams. South Carolina is a different beast. They are the best team in the country.

They lost to SC with only 4 points being shorthanded. Not a major probz. Just the turnovers, and if majority of those field goals went down, they could've won that game. Same reason for losing to other teams. Of course the bad calls really matters. These lady Huskies can make miracles, watch......

Leaving out the fact SC went 0-11 on 3pointers before they made there 1st one, so being yall like the if game SC can say if they didn't miss all those 3's they would of won by 20 but I like how yall just leave out the fact last year in there first match up in the battle of atlantis uconn was up by 15 or 18 I cnt remember but lost by 15 with all there players wasn't no injuries and got steamed rolled! Uconn is a talented team with good players but they are not big enough or athletic enough wen they match up against SC but there's nothing wrong with keeping hope alive wen SC dominated uconn the last 4 matchups

Being real. I am a UCONN fan ok. Stanford has two big girls down low at 6'5 playing with them. UConn has a 6'5 forward all American sitting on the bench watching and eating pizza and a Coke Drink name Deberry what's going on with her . Help me out there please.???
