This is what we were missing the last few years with Dan Mullen Keeping Emory Jones as the starter instead of Anthony Richardson especially last year. Man I’m really looking forward to this season Go Gators. Heck of a game Utah.

Utah should have ran the ball a few times in that last set of plays. It’s risky throwing the ball that close to the end zone with all the defenders stacked, not to mention the receiver was sitting on the ground before the ball was thrown!

I missed this game and obviously it was a huge mistake. Even these highlights are exciting despite the fact that I know how it turned out. Glancing at the stat lines you wouldn't think Richardson had an explosive game, but then you see he was the top rusher with 3 TDs and that crazy 2 point conversion and it's clear he's going to have a good season. That's a big game to start a season that is only going to get tougher.

Mullen should be in prison for keeping Richardson behind Jones last year. Kid is a star. Ima Vols fan and he’s the best gamer I’ve seen thus far. His god given talent is 2nd to none. Utah doesn’t have the athletes that the SEC has tho. Good game gators and congrats on Napier. Kentucky next week will be a bigger test IMO because they have better recruits and play SEC ball plus they beat UF 2 out of the last 3 or 4 if I’m not mistaken. I’m worried about AR15 as a Vols fan but also optimistic about how their defense looked against Utah running on them pretty good with an innacurate QB who doesn’t have no where near the offense or WRs we losses along with the offensive coach(Heupel). On the other side I’m worried about our D against AR15 but we make him into a passer we win. Gonna be a helluva game on the 24th!

I'm an Utah fan and went to this game along with 15000 of my closest friends. I've been going to football games for almost 50 years and have never experienced a more classless fan base than those associated with the Florida Gators. My friends and I, and basically the state of Utah in general, were continually cursed at during the entirety of the game. In a way, it was kind of a blessing that Utah gave away the game like it did, otherwise we might not have gotten out of the stadium alive. I'm going to take a personal interest in seeing the likes of Alabama, Georgia, A & M, etc...hand the Gators their asses to them during the remainder of the season. Oh, and make sure you pack your oxygen masks next year when you come to SLC to play the Utes at Rice-Eccles. I'm pretty certain there isn't one Gator in the roster that's played at altitude. Should be a lot of fun by the time the 4th Qtr rolls around.

Okay. I'm a Michigan fan, and this was the best game I've seen in a long time. AR-15 maybe the best dual threat QB I've seen since Michael Vick. Utah is a great team, but this win for Florida and Napier was a program changer. I'm calling it right now...Napier wins Coach of the Year; AR-15 wins the Heisman; Florida wins the SEC East and will be the 2nd SEC team in the Playoff besides Bama. Impressive looking team!!!

I've been ready for Richardson to be starting QB, and yeah last year would've been nice because we kept it real close with Alabama with him starting, but we couldn't risk it with the hamstring injury. Emory Jones wasn't the best but he put in his time so he got his flowers. Hyped for this season, hoping for the best, LFG Gators 🐊

Type of game I wish I was at...& I'm from Georgia

I know most of y'all casual fans think the SEC is supposed to just dominate teams outside of the conference. UTAH is different and they play a different brand of football than other Pac 12 teams. They're physical and they play hard, especially when they bring their A game... I'm a Bama fan, so trust me I know how good UTAH is (sugar bowl) lol .. This is a really great win for Florida and the Utes will probably win the rest of the games on their schedule.
