I quit my last job 1 month ago, I've been working in a very toxic environment for 2 years and was feeling terrible every morning simply because i had to work. After quitting, my anxiety has reduced significantly. Best thing i ever did!

I quit my job the next day after watched this video, I had 5 of this symptom, so the very next day after 20 minutes after clock in , my boss called in the office and told me I need to take 30 minutes lunch only and not 45 or 38 minutes, so I decided at that moment to return my keys and the company cellphone, and I decided to quit, I been working the last 2 weeks by my self and I loved it, I have a daily goal to achieve and I'm learning from your videos every day, for a whole year already, thank you very much

I worked for over a year at a job I absolutely HATED. I felt drained every evening, and I started anxiety meds and antidepressants for the first time in my entire life. Every morning I was taking antacids because my stomach was so upset, and every evening it was so hard to be positive and strong for my wife and daughter, to the point that my wife wanted to pack up and leave. I was so glad to land a new job, in the field that I enjoyed, even with a longer commute. I put in my two weeks notice, but then I quit early when upper management stepped on my toes one two many times. I didn’t care. I was starting the new job the following week anyway. Don’t quit your hated job until you line something up on the outside, but man, it feels so good when you finally can!

*Two things when you feel unhappy:* - You work to hard with your passion and forget to take time off - You work with building up somebody else’s dream and have zero emotional resonance with what you do

This is my current situation, I’m going through a lot these days, I hope I will find better to do, but it’s so painful 😖 and tears everyday...

Sadly I have all 7 signs. As much as I love my profession, unfortunately I work for the wrong company. Time for a change :)

1 sign is enough for me: If I hate the job, then I'll quit instantly! For all rational thinking people, listen to your gut feeling, It is right most of the time!

I don't like my primary job at all, but I use the income I get from it to invest in the side hustles that will eventually be replacing this damn job! Also investing in a specialized skill is a good idea

I just quit my job after a year. I had been asking for the bare minimum from my bosses I was drowning, couldn't eat, couldn't sleep and started to develop severe anxiety. I have no idea what I'm going to do but as soon as I resigned I felt a weight lifted. I stayed with my previous employer before this one for 11 years I'm in uncharted territory but my mental health and home life were suffering.

😂😂😂 I have 6 of 7 😂😂😂 I finally decided to look for another job or even changing career. I just started looking for a new job again after more than 8 years. Actually, I really want to change career but since I still dont have the right certification, it’s been not that easy to get any offers. My concern is that I am not young anymore and in my current job, not many companies want to hire someone is older than 35 yo to fill the position 😅😅 ... It doesn’t matter because there’ll always good chance something out there for me ✌🏼

Honestly speaking, I tend to experience those 7 points at all the jobs I did. I've job hopped a lot and why I quit those places are exactly because of those warning signs mentioned. And then I got to my current job and thought that, I am not getting any younger and I couldn't be changing job way too often and started thinking things like 'maybe it's me' kind of thing. Like maybe there are things that I have to further improve and I thought it's normal to face such setbacks as human beings do need challenges to grow after all. But then again, it's like I'm sabotaging myself. Being in a workplace where people tend to take me lightly, taken for granted, and not wanting to cooperate just to feed their own ego. Bosses not wanting to do anything about it and say things like 'their characters are like that' and yet when the usually good and kind ones accidentally commits mistake like once in a while, they're being 'target' by them. So I thought enough is enough and coincidentally, I did went to try applying for job somewhere else earlier today. Hope this will be a good beginning to start afresh and advance forward.

I never understood those ''Why don't you just quit your job?'' people! How exactly do you imagine the world works? Do you just assume that everyone has a million saved up in their bank account and can just live comfortably for years while studying for a new career or looking for a better job? People need to survive and most have families to feed as well; they can't just quit their job like it's some fucking optional Spanish 1A course in college!

I found myself in the position where I didnt think I was good enough for the job, everything that i seemed to do was wrong. However it was a learning experience and I finally found a job that I love!! I have the coolest boss on the planet, and I couldnt ask for something better...I've been here for 3 years!

I work down in a factory and drive around in a fork truck all day, for the majority of the time I am doing a good job and I don't feel appreciated for it. Every single sign here is what i'm suffering now.

I resigned early last year in my previous job, I have all the seven signs mentioned. The major factor that made me resign is #7. I got sick many times back then, which rarely happens to me before I work there. But now, I found a better job. Although, I work part time, it's enough to provide my needs and my family's needs.

I have all of the signs and I'm already 47. I have to have my free life.

I believe it’s important we find gratitude in everything we do even if we are a janitor pushing a mop. We should always put hard work and gratitude in everything we do because this habit will follow us where ever we go and pursue. Now if you feel you would like to leave your job ask yourself if it’s something internal you can change to enjoy your job better or if it may be time for change because you have out grown this chapter in life.

Base on my experience my supervisor and my two colleagues insults me a lot of bad words and I realy feel so depressed that time and I think that I have no achievements have done to them. but on myself I know i help alot I worked to them for almost 1 year and 4 months. I dread going to work, I hate my job and want to leave. My reason for saying this or feeling this is because I want to work a business of my own. I want this to be my last job. Interviews are a waist of time and are old-fashioned. We should be hired because of our work ethic and skill and not what's on a piece of paper and how we answer dumb questions in a interview. I'm not an entrepreneur but I like the idea. In all honesty I just want flexible work that will allow me to work, travel, and come and go as I please without consequences. Pending on finding this.

I'm self-employed, but I still have 5 of these. It's time to go back into my old business (also self-employed), where I used to jump out of bed to check my stats and then keep checking all day long, like it was a video game!

I joined my industry cause i wanted to pursue it but I lost interest at my new job, happened when my friend/flatmate got promoted, it was good at the beginning, I treat him as my boss at work but he keeps giving me sarcasm even at home for my fuck ups. He lead me to depression for 2 months only to tell me not all my fuck ups are mine, he believes yelling is a solution which is not all the time I feel. Really gonna quit and join somewhere else... i cant deal with the sarcasm he gives me, he also says if you quit u wont get successful in life after this job

Yup.... exactly the very 7 signs that finally led me to quit my PhD in engineering after 3 years of my life wasted in trying to make things "work"! Still hoping for something better to come up, but surely it was the best decision ever to have gotten out from an environment that was beginning to get super-toxic on all fronts!

You can't look for a job while you have one. Really. You can browse job offers and apply but eventually you gonna have to meet them, and you gonna have to explain to your boss why you have to take a day off. And it doesn't guarantee getting a job or that you'll be satisfied with a offer.

Freelancers are people who have the experience ...you saying how do I get that by doing paid internship that gives you at least 6 months no less then 4 it's hard to find internship but the market for freelancers is growing just make sure it's a job you love and you still have time for family and friends

I'm 21 and is till live with my parents, the thing is i live in South Africa which is a dying country and there are literally almost no jobs in general and if there is a jobs it"s a very bad job that pays next to nothing. Having a job today is modern day slavery. Every slave has a boss and you are earning in a digital illusion of income that is not backed by anything. Become your own company and save in finite assets that can’t be reproduced endlessly. In other words, you have to find a way to beat inflation if you want to maintain a decent standard of living

I remember one of my old jobs they used to call us labour that's it. ie."do we have enough labour for today". That was a very good sign to quit.😀

You know a job is bad when it starts making you appreciate all the little things of having a regular American lifestyle and it makes you a way better person. I work 13 hour days, 6 days (sometimes 7 days) a week. 2 hours for commute there and back I kind of enjoy what I do but everything is starting to get annoying (only been here four months) Day one was the biggest let down of my life so far and I was in a terrible mood for weeks because the job wasn't as advertised at all when I applied...I THOUGHT I found my dream job but things are sometimes too good to be true. Felt like I got sucked into a lie and a con job. There's a new company taking over in a few days.
