7 Witch skills | Become a powerful Witch 

I have been practicing wicca since I was 16 (I am now 54) and I admit I never thought about the need for shadow work before. Now I hear about it from every corner and it is definitely the answer to why I have felt so blocked these past few years =) My manifesting a path to go down next has validated my belief once again =) Thanx for helping with the facilitation!!!

As a practicing witch (in the reclaiming tradition they call it now) this resonates with me. Recent commercialism ,must dos, must haves, and labeling I have found deflating not uplifting. I have been blessed with manifesting my life, health, and relationships positively for 25+years. Thank you for TED talk.

Ive known i am a Witch my whole life - im nearing 60 now. These days my strength and best work comes in the colder months, Autumn and Winter is 'my' time of year 😊 As an Eclectic Witch i dont follow any one path but make my own, but it relies heavily on Nature. I am sure, we all who are born being pagan, just feel being a witch goes through changes your entire life and at a certain point you just feel what you need to „practice“ it’s natural. I use it all, candles, spells, herbs, the woods, cooking and baking, gem stones, spirit cards, smoking herbs, making tinctures….. and exactly when and how I feel it. The world is changing, the energies are - everything is going to be perfect for us. Thank you Bex 🌺 and yes!!! Don’t let any negativity get to you. Stay calm and breath and think about it before you react. So right and then again in every other way, I follow my intuition 💖

shadow work is forever, you have to confront what shadows you've made in the past which shade your current sunshine-y view. and i always have a shadow, until i rest under the ground away from the lux. in the winter time, our shadows are visually the longest they will be, it's also the time of year when we have time to reflect the most on this shadow friend of ours, have conversations with it under the candlelight.

Im pretty new to witchcraft and dont have much experience, but I can absolutely agree with getting in tough with natural energies around you - this is actual what pushed me into practicing! Last year, I set a goal to at least walk 10.000 steps a day. I often go into nature and walk through forests around me. Experiencing how the forest and nature change during the seasons and even just notice small changes, like how the forest looks after it rained a lot the previous day. When I got into witchcraft for the first time, I was really unsure if I should pursue this path. But when I went on my daily walks through the forest, it was almost as if nature was sending me signals that said "Yes, this is the path for you! Do it!". It was like nature and the energies of the forest were talking to me. I'm so grateful for that, and in general to live as close to nature as I do. I can use a lot of natural materials in my craft that I find in the forest too, which is great!

I enjoy your videos. Thank you. I have realized for me I prefer not to give myself a label being a witch or pendulum Alchemist etc. I do or use whatever in the moment to influence whatever for my benefit. For an example: I suddenly experienced severe debilitating pain in my hip when walking to the post office. A flash of panic and concern came wondering how I was going to make my destination. If I did and because could not walk I could at least take a taxi. I stopped walking. I used my pointed finger as if we're a wand and envisioned my hip pain as red to blue. While pointing my finger I moved it in a circle saying words to remove the inflamation and relax the tightened muscle. I then carried on to the post office. Waited around alittle bit to make sure it was able to walk before heading back on foot to work. Pain and restrictions in my hip was gone. Example #2 For years I would always fumble through my keys for the correct key for the correct doors of my appartment complex. I always would select the wrong one. It irritated me until finally I set a SPELL " always show Me, the right Key". Ever since the correct key is shown to me out of all the keys. Example #3 I sensed my Accountant was being Arrogant so I drew up a sigil and carefully stuck it inside my income tax papers submitted for her to do my tax filing. The sigil was to help her to be humble, appreciative and grateful for my business. The sigil was placed stick inside the envelop so she would not necessarily find it. She reached out via e-mail sounding fine.

On a personal level, I can sum up all 7 skills with the axiom "know thyself". I especially appreciate the comments about mindfulness as I recognize myself as a person who reacts first and regrets later. As someone who has been writing for a living in an academic setting for the past 8 years, I have a very strong "editor" that creeps into my journaling. And frankly, at the end of the day, I am tired of writing. So when I do shadow work, I use movement and then notice how my body feels. Or I visualize my shadow in front of me and "duel" with it, argue back and forth. I never come to conscious conclusions, but I do notice that a lot of energy gets freed up that I can use in my practice and daily life. Thanks for tips 💖

Thank you for this recap of things we should do, like shadow work or grounding one self every morning! Like a bear, i tend to “hibernate” in the winter! Stay inside, and sleep a lot more. It often feels like i live during 3 seasons only and survive winter! Now that I’m older,The snow has no attraction, ( i don’t ski anymore) only shoveling to get out when necessary. I'm curious to know if you tell others that you are a witch. I mean strangers..."regular people" :) in your "everyday life" scenarios. If they ask you what you do or things you're interested in...do you say, "I'm a witch" or is that topic not broached? I've had that interaction and it hasn't always been energetically beneficial to me, leaving me somewhat regretful of being authentically myself in that moment. So I'm just curious what you or others who wish to comment, do in a situation where being a witch could potentially come up in conversation. Thank you
