I like that no-one except Andy is in this one I like to imagine that it's not an offical oxbox video, Andy just broke into the studio and started ranting about fighting stages and they decided to roll with it.
I'm starting to think the reason Andy and Luke were the ones doing the Soul Calibur videos is because they're the only ones who like fighting games. Jane seems to be into story stuff, and MMOs. And Mike likes racing games, and games where you blow people up.
I still think the worst Tekken stage to have a fight is the penguin stage in Tekken 5. The tomato festival is just messy, and the final stage in #7 is of historical significance. But there is no conceivable explanation for why two fighters would elect to meet (most likely shirtless) in Antarctica and fight on an ice floe with nobody but a bunch of uninterested penguins as spectators.
Fighting Buu inside of Buu does happen in the show but what doesn't stack up is that the constant health drain in that stage not only affects you, but it also affects Buu.
There is a stage in Mortal Kombat Deception called The Falling Cliffs that gets smaller and smaller until one or both of you fall into a pit of spikes!

FF1 the guy villain dying goes back in time to become Chaos and release the four arch fiends to wake him up after his human self went back in time. It is a time loop that has been going on for some time and you finally stop it.

One of the SNK vs. Capcom games had a boss fight in Heaven. It's cozier than Hell, but its residents get a _lot_ angrier when you fight people there. Or at least more judgemental...
Thanks for including Big Blue! Too many fighters had suffered from some major road rash not to notice... Also, another terrible idea for a place to fight is the Labyrinth stage(s) from the Soul Calibur series. The problem here, besides fighting in a dank, dark, decrepit dungeon most-assuredly filled with horrors most foul, is that if the fighters take too long, the edges of the ring will simply fall off in large segments until there is no room to stand on let alone fight. It does make you wonder how the survivor even got out of there once their hard fought battle was through, but to this day there's not really an answer. Just an all around bad idea if you ask me.
Still surprised you haven't mentioned that creepy Soul Calibur stage with all the creepy merry-go-round animals around it. Up so high and with no handrails, it's dangerous as a merry-go-round, and just downright creepy as a fight pit!
You could fill the list up with quite a few Soul Calibur stages... Cervantes and Yoshimitsu's stages in 3 are good examples. In Cervantes stage, you're fighting on a broken in half pirate ship during a storm, and in Yoshimitsu's you're fighting on a stone platform and there's lava everywhere. Then there's the Lizardman/Astaroth stage in Soul Calibur 4... The stage itself isn't exactly bad at first glance, until you see the lizardmen with giant silverware just waiting for one of the combatants to get knocked out so they can presumably eat him/her.

Honestly, this could just be an entire series and of itself. There are just so many weird and super dangerous places that fighters in fighting games have... well... fought. And let's not forget that the Street Fighter gang isn't the only group to fight on top of a moving plane. Super Smash Bros. also has their fighters fighting on top of SEVERAL moving planes in the Pilot Wings stage. I think Ryu would be sick of fighting on top of airborne planes after a bit. Also, on the subject of fighting in active volcanoes, Street Fighter IV has one of its own. Volcanoes must just be popular tourist attractions for fighters. Also, Majin Buu fighting inside Majin Buu isn't really TOO far fetched since Majin Buu did canonically fight with Goku and Vegeta while inside his own body. Those two were just as confused by it as the rest of us. Not to mention, Majin Buu kind of ate fat Buu and that moist looking hellscape is where fat Buu ended up.
If you are fighting Majin Buu inside Majin Buu, wouldn’t that mean there is another fight inside the Majin Buu you are fighting, and that you are fighting inside a Majin Buu that is in a fight with someone?
If it helps, fighting Buu inside Buu is actually canon, since he can form little Buus inside himself to attack people who manage to get inside his body without being absorbed.

i would also put poke floats from super smash bros melee on the list as you are fighting on floats that disappear and the stage is banned in tournament play for that reason

There's a little known Dreamcast game called Powerstone 2. It had some pretty crazy levels like the airship literally falling apart as you're fighting on it or the Tomb level where suddenly in the middle of the fight, you're running from a boulder Indiana Jones style.
"Hot Zone" literally just looks like reused assets from the first stage of Metal Gear Solid 4. Like I KNOW that's not what it is but it LOOKS identical.
These all make fighting in a bathhouse with an overflowing -- but unoccupied -- tub seem positively tame. Even if you could end up slipping on soap or wet floor.
What about Boogie Bay from Midway's The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy where you're fighting on a boat, that then falls off a waterfall and you have to keep fighting while it's falling, only for it to split in half in which you then have to keep jumping between the two falling pieces and keep fighting?
Skullgirls had a similar "in a stomach" style level that I hear was banned in tournament play due to being too disturbing, which I believe was partly due to the creepy "Chamber Below" track that plays.
The clock tower in Castlevania: Judgement. The most dangerous part of a castle that we've already established as one of the most dangerous in existence. You will spend more time trying not to fall off the gears than you will fighting your opponent, and your attacks can even destroy the gears. At least there aren't any Medusa heads, but still...
I'd second that, and also add the Torture room. Round start, get picked up and juggled by the swinging blades only to land in either the spikes or the acid pool.
Mortal Kombat XL, a rickety dock where corpses regularly splash up to be used as projectiles and apparently there's a beast underneath that can, whenever the victor calls, send a sucker-covered arm to wrap around someone and pull them below the water while crushing them like a soda can.
The Smash 4's final destination, which is a platform moving around space, with no atmosphere, and going, I dunno... THROUGH A COLLISION BETWEEN A PLANET AND A STAR? Seems safe to me!
That is hardly the strangest nor most dangerous place that Kasumi and Ayane have fought. How about while free falling down the side of a _reeaally_ tall temple with a river of lava at the bottom? (Not to mention that said river ends with a lavafall into a lava lake.) Though they weren't fighting each other that time but _with_ each other (and Hitomi) against Yuna, Rikku and Tifa Lockheart. Also the wrestling ring stage in Dead or Alive 5 would have been a good place to fight, if the ring ropes and corners weren't electrified, seriously, I came here for a professional wrestling match, not see someone get electrocuted to death
The Big Blue entry kind of makes me want a video where Mike critiques improbable cars in video games and Jane critiques the improbable physics of what the characters in/on/around the cars do, because there's no way us mere mortals would leave Big Blue on anything other than a pavement scraper.

There is that 1 warzone stage in Tekken 6, they even have tanks firing off in the background. Then there is another where the fighters duke it out on a helicopter pad, & there's lots of lighting strikes, & a helicopter light lights up the stage as it flies around.
Fighting games having a weird lab stages in general! Each series is bound to have one at some point. DOA 4 &5, Street fighter 4, Bloody Roar Primal Fury, King of fighters, Tekken, Dragon Ball Fighterz and Mortal Kombat. Point is this is a continuing theme....
Okay, idea for stages you manually lock. A feature (which can be disabled of course) where sometimes if you've hit random arena it loads up and as soon as it does both fighters look around and nope-the-f*ck-out.
Speaking of DBZ, how about THE CITY. Sure, it's not as immediately unpleasant as Buu's stomach, or as immediately dangerous as the currently-exploding planet Namek, but this is by far the worst place to duke it out considering all that collateral damage that's about to be on your conscience. That skyscraper? Someone's office. Those domes? Someone's apartment. Jerks.
1: Wolverine's Stage in Marvel Super Heroes: You're fighting on top of a bridge, that eventually falls down on a river, and you gotta keep on fighting on your bridge-turned-raft. After the match ends, the bridge falls down a waterfall, and the winner falls safely on a rock, while the loser falls along with the bridge to their doom 2: Amon's stage in the Neo Geo Double Dragon game: Just like Rashid, Amon fights on the wing of a plane, that goes between a river pathway perpetually. However, unlike the Street Fighters, who seemingly don't die from that, after the match ends in this stage, the loser WILL fall off the plane 3: Riptide's stage in Eternal Champions - Challenge from the Dark Side: Riptide is a pirate, and thus, her stage is a pirate ship. In the middle of a rain storm. While cannonballs keep on hitting the ship, thus making it visibly more damaged as the fight goes on. But there are also the stage fatalities. If you manage to score one, then the victim will either be impaled by a big, swinging hook, or the victim will be thrown out of the ship, as a huge shark will eat the loser. And the worst part it's that they're fighting there for plot reasons! 4: Birdie's stage in Street Fighter Alpha 2: The stage is literally in a public toilet. Need I say anything more? 5: The Doomsday Weapon stage in Cyberbots: You're fighting at a huge weapon in space, inside the fucking Moon, to stop the big bad from firing said weapon of mass destruction upon Earth. However, as the fighting goes, the weapon enters the Earth's orbit, and so do the fighters, so it enters combustion. It's a mech fight, but that's still pretty fucking dangerous

In JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Eyes of Heaven and All Star battle consists of many dangerous stages. In EoH, you can battle on top of rooftops that your opponent can easily punch you off of and you battle near a giant spike pit that takes up 80% of the stage. In All Star Battle you battle near a haunted alleyway in which if you turn around, a bunch of hands pursuits you and steals your soul
I'm gonna suggest the Old Toledo - Burning Gallery stage from Soulcalibur 3. It's a mansion that's literally on fire. If the guy with the sword doesn't get you, smoke inhalation probably will.
BlazBlue series: The Gate. Just a generic cliffside duel, only off the edge of this cliff is The Boundary, the source of the BB universe's magical energy aka seithr, but also a place where if people fall in they have the chance of being COMPLETELY ERASED FROM EXISTENCE INCLUDING ALL TIMELINES. So, you know. Watch your step.
Bang bang booom -- I love how there's two instances of "fighting on planes" and two entries from the EXACT SAME GAME. XD Dead or Alive 5 does not mess around with its stages, I can see that. :p Also, that last stage looks to me like the guy's brain, so everything about him should be short-circuiting right about now.
Speaking of Smash Bros, you know where you shouldn't have a fight? Rainbow Road! Sometimes it's fine and nothing happens aside from the stage continually moving but at other times there's a bunch of Shy Guys driving on the track, leading to a giant fight in the middle of a race. Ridiculous isn't it?
San Francisco in Playstation All-Stars, fighters are in the ruins of the city during a war between humans and infected alien-human hybrids. While somehow the fighters don’t get shot or infected, that’s before they get abducted by a mad scientist robot.
It's funny you should mention Flow from DoA because years ago Li Long from Soul Edge/Blade loved fighting on a stage floating down a narrow gorge. And that one didn't even have walls.
Here's a stage I've thought of. Mortal kombat 9, the soulnado level. You are LITERALLY fighting next to a tornado of riled up souls, and if you don't think that's dangerous already, look what happened to Noob Saibot. He got sucked in, and he's SUPER DUPER dead.
Smash really does have some out there fighting arenas! for my money, i would have gone with Brinstar Depths; it's weirdly gross and the rising acid is pretty concerning
Killer Instinct. One stage has you fighting in a factory that is clearly about to blow up and another places both characters right in the middle of a Halo firefight. The cave with the giant spider inside can also work.
Any stage in Smash where you can easily fall into the ocean is pretty bad when you consider that a good chunk of the cast either can’t even swim or would die instantly upon falling in if that happened in their own game.
The Pit in Mortal Kombat 1 and 2, the Acid Pit in MK2, Cammy’s stage in Street Fighter 2 or any 2D fighting stage where the Arena is a small bridge the fighters would fall off if they lightly step sideways.
The Final Boss Dural stage in Virtua Fighter 2. Which is entirely underwater. You even move slower. But somehow you don’t drown and you don’t float (you even “fall” on the ground). And scream (with a funny sound effect)
