NEW VANLIFE VIDEO!!! What are the TOP 7 things I love about my van. After having a number of RV & Expedition vehicles I built my van with what I learned from previous vehicles. One does not even have anything to do with camping, but it was a game changer for me.

Yes…toilet is #1 for sure ! I would also say our indoor shower would be a close second because nothing is better than a hot shower before relaxing for the evening. #3 Diesel heater #4 Tv to wind down before bed #5 plenty of power (bluetti is what we use) #6 window covers to block out 100% #7 good cooler…we use ice in a yeti cooler and it lasts 4 days in the summer so I figure ice over power use is ok.

I have all seven things you mentioned but the one that I find is the best is the toilet for sure. Like you say it is my bathroom and I can use it whenever I need to.

Bathroom AND hot water indoor shower. Ventilation including heat and a/c. Not diesel heat...hate the smell.

I am not a fan of diesel. My Dad had a VW Vanagon Diesel and it always smelled inside.

Wireless rearview mirror/camera might be helpful. You can stick the camera anywhere, inside or outside

I have one for backing up but that is it. Other than when I open the door to get out I don't want to know what is outside :-)

Just discovered you today!!! Great video and I agree - these are all the things I'm currently putting in my van build. I should be done (fingers crossed) by the end of June and hitting the road after the July holiday!!! Going to go now and binge watch your other videos!!!

I am 5' 9" (being generous) and it works for me. I did do a little build out at the feet and I want to do it at the head some day but don't find it an issue. REMEMBER the thickness of your walls will effect that width. I also thought if I did it again to use the build outs.
