@@davidescobar5366 tf? Texas allows everything on the roads, it's California that has the insane laws for cars. Even here, this car would be legal, so especially in TX it would be fine, nothing illegal about it. It's not a kit car

This bug is beautiful! My first car was a 73 beetle with a baja kit and a stinger pipe. I had it for two years, until I left for the military. My brother blew the engine up and now it just sits at my parents house. Fast forward to present day life with a family and it still sits, waiting to be avenged... keep it up guys! Freakin digging it!

@@philincaundo I completely forgot about making this comment. Believe it or not, I just sold it on November 20th, to a family friend, for $300. He's already in the process of resurrecting it. Removed the blown engine, replaced the rear baja fenders with the old classic fenders, replaced and reinforced the firewall and ordered a new engine. I gotta say, I'm pretty jealous but excited to see how it turns out. Good luck with any future projects!

I really do like that buggy,I used to be into the VW's allot back in high school.I had a 57 Ghia with a 1200cc ,didnt have much snot but gas was cheap to run it.Nice work on that machine bro.👍👍

I remember him buying a Playtec buggy and we went to glamis and beat it up pretty good. We came back he repaired it ended up selling his upgrades to Playtec. Then building a full chassis and the rest is history.
