What were you doing for block/head ventilation? I couldn't really see a catch can it the video. Awsome build! Good luck moving forward with the new engine. Can't wait to see what you can do with it.
My catch can is coverd in white plastic bags on the left side of the bay because it would leak .I'm running 2x -12 lines from the back of the block to it . I don't like how it filles up fast and leak's so i am going to do a battery relocate and put one up top just have to get around to it .Thank you Hell yea brother we shall see! :)
@@dailydrivencarsddc1182 i used a grip racing twin to make this 700. there is a cheaper twin now days i know a couple ppl are using the alder twin i belive it has worked for 3 friends making 700+ so far. that would be a nice goal on that budget
Hate to see you going the vtec route, but I totally understand.. the LS non vtec has its limits and I feel the same way... I am contemplating just going K swap on mine.. k24 turbo and all wheel drive in the future..
Yea i hate having to doit but i came up on a gsr engine really cheap and got it sleeved and stuff so it should be able to make alot more power and i came to relize the more power bigger cams i got the further i would have to rev to have a good power band.Sucks but hey more power is more power lol .i hear that i have a reason im staying B series . but yea K awd is deff cheaper than b untill you surpass the 900hp mark.
@@KongEG sounds good and yes you will like the gsr engine alot more since the power will be more usable, btw how are you liking that turbo? Sims to make about 74 more whp at the same psi then my garett gtw3684 62mm turbo.. I heard good things about those pulsars.. are you still on a LS transmission?
@@civicpride1986 I was on LS transmission All of the videos i have up right now are of me on LS transmission. Yea the puslars are deff good turbo's myne is still mint with countless 30+ psi pulls.every one els local i know has not had a problem . My 3584RS gen 2 is a 67 so that sounds about right . My LS keeps lifting the head though i need to get this css block o ringed im not going to worry about it since im biulding the gsr that is step decked .Im using a JE Proseal headgasket with a fesh surfaced head arp studs and it still ends up lifting after like 10 pulls idk if its my old arp studs or just needs oring prob oring tbh . My last track pass it said it hit 35 psi so Lol. its just pushing coolent some after pulls i still send it though .
@@KongEG nice and yes I haven't had issues with head lifting at all on mine, but you are pushing more power so that could be the reason.. I am also on a css block, I have the type r transmission and acceleration is very nice and fast but I am like you I wish I had more rpm or longer gears.. I feel I have to shift to fast.. Good luck on your new build I am sure everything will be good and hopefully makes more power and more usable.. keep us updated whenever you can..
Yeah bro! That sucks about you going with a vtec setup Lol!! I send my LS block to Ramey Racing to get it sleeved and o-ring. I also changed my Pulsar GTX3582RS for a G35-1050 (6862). There is a RU-vid review in my channel. Subscribe! Hehehe. I looking for 800WHP. My IG is @rboost77 if you would like to take a look into my build progress. Good luck with your new build and goals.
