Hey I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2L in it. It is all stock I only have a Thrush exhaust system on it and it's a very quiet Truck I can barely hear it running.

The only ones available are discontinued Mopar M1s, or Edelbrock RPM Air Gaps converted by Hughes. Also believe these are discontinued. Hughes also used to modify the oem intakes by porting the runners and cutting them back some. Not sure if they still do th is either.

I’d recommend switching to a v8 like most people, but if your attached to the 3.9 turbo e85 and not sure how close you’d get but the big flaw in the v6 is the split crank. Never heard of it splitting but most people bring it up. I’m going to be doing a 360 swap in to my single cab with the nv3500.

The 4.7 can make some spank. Its cross bolted mains and fairly beefy rods. The weak point is the timing set. If you get past that they will go and handle boost.

I was just being kosher.i know the first R/T's came out in 98.i bought a 99 when i was 18 or 19 so i know all about them.that was over 22yrs ago.

@@houstonbigfooter yes you are right about that. They increased power on 98 to 00 i believe they stopped the rt model or 01 idk. But the power was changed from the previous 5.9 that had 230hp and 235 or 245 torque. Then 98 and up it went to 245hp and torque 245 or 235 idk need correction om the torque numbers lol

I’m calling bs on 700 at the tire. That’s roughly a 500 crank hp engine. On a stock cube engine you’re talking 7-7500rpm for that kind of power. Whole lot of foolery going on here

Mate it's a 360ci engine with twin 58mm turbos running 15psi and water meth injection. 700whp is about spot-on for this combination.

Brian Frost they said 700 on 8psi. Which means it’d have to make around 800-825 at the flywheel. That’s 1000hp at 2 atmospheres aka 14.7psi. That’s some power for a stock cube engine. You can put twin 88’s on it and it’s still only gonna make that same power at 8psi.....

@@78freewheeler You can definitely make 500hp at the flywheel with a stock cube mopar 360 naturally aspirated without getting anywhere near 7000rpm. More like 5800-6200rpm. So 800hp+ @ 8psi is not out of the realms of possibility but you'd need 10:1 compression and your ignition advance would be very knock limited on 91 pump swill. I thought I saw 15psi mentioned in this somewhere which makes more sense as a "conservative" tune as he mentioned.
