What you are hearing is the throttle bodies wide-open in Sport+ mode and the air pressure stabilizing through the metal throttle bodies and boost tubes. In other modes, the throttle bodies will close at least partially but in Sport+ they stay open to attempt to keep the turbo lag as low as possible. Also, in ordinary Sport mode, you get those crackles that you hear in town ... but not in Sport+.
It's so refreshing to have a modest, down to earth car reviewer. I can only watch so much Mr JWW, Shmee, Lord Aleem etc before their personalities annoy me to the point of switching off.

The turbo s is one if my favourite cars and you never see the other automotive youtubers making videos about them, so great to see a video from you! I think the fact that so many people with serious car collections have a turbo s as a 'daily' proves what an astounding car it is. This one sounds amazing too!

The video really can't portray how hard this car pushes you. I have a 991.2 and I can tell you, when it sounds like it kicks the air out of him in acceleration or cornering - that's exactly what it's doing.
This is probably the most beautifully made car test drive video I've seen on RU-vid by ANY RU-vidr. Spectacular landscapes and car of course. Absolutely mad sounding! I could imagine that Satan himself would show up in a suit in this particular car.
Awesome video. I have a 991.1 Turbo S modified to 773 horsepower at the crank (655 wheel HP) (Champion 68mm VTG turbo upgrade, Tubi catless race exhaust, Champion Intercoolers and GIAC tune with race gas file) and this video does of a great job of capturing what the car is like. Same kind of sounds on the 991.1 Turbo S when modded.
I just absolutely love this car. The way you can hear the turbo from time to time is incredible. And also the exhaust how its rattling after down shifting. Sad you couldn't go on a track. But nice video. Keep it up they're fun to watch and make me a little bit jealous xD.

If this is how joyous the 991.2 Turbo S is tuned to the gills, imagine how the upcoming 992 will become, especially with the hybrid slot engaged for instant e-torque on demand coupled with Akrapovic's sweet-sounding exhaust.....
My buddy in his 997.2 turbo passed me with the windows down at 100mph full blast and it's outrageous how loud and just violent it sounds. Videos don't do the sound justice. Not to mention what this Turbo S with the bigger turbos and exhaust must sound like going by you...
