CLARA BOW TRIBUTE WEEK continues at Warlock's Movie Realm with the 1927 comedy HULA!
So what is HULA about? Clara Bow is the daughter of a pineapple plantation owner in Hawaii but is rebellious because she....wait for it....wears pants and rides horses. Oooooooh what a rebel. Anyway Bow falls for Clive Brook who eventually stars in the 1933 Best Picture winning Cavalcade. Now if the movie sucks, at least it'll be short since its only 64 minutes long. Another useless tidbit, the movie did not renew its copyright yet it took until 2023 to get in the Public Domain because the BOOK got renewed. Let's see how the movie turns out.
