Thanks for detailed comparison Both devices are best in their individual price categories If someone has never used a dashcam before…. You can’t go wrong with A510 as you can still invest in additional mount, good memory card ,CPL filter and hard wiring kit if required

Nice video anna. Considering budget A 510 Dual will be the most value for money Dashcam. Its night clarity is even better then my 4 K Z 50 Dual.

When you purchased the Z50, there was no other camera that could match its quality. There will be a time when even 70mai A510 will be outdated and something even better will come up. This is a normal trend for all electronic gadgets.

Hello, thanks for this video. Really nice way of putting up the comparison. Can you please suggest me a list of dashcams/any video of yours about a dashcam (dual channel) without ADAS? My car already has ADAS, so I'm thinking of not spending unnecessarily on ADAS and it's features in the dashcam, unless there's no option left. I hope you understand my point and be able to help me in any way possible :)

I would recommend a CPL filter definitely. It removes all the unwanted glare and dashboard reflections from the video footage. That being said, you can always purchase CPL filter sometime later, when you feel comfortable.

Superb. This was a much needed clarification. I was in a second thought about both the sensors. Seems like a noticeable difference. I was specifically looking for Viofo A229Plus which has 2K Starvis 2 sensors on both front and rear cams. Think the A810 can outdo the A229. No?

Lowering the resolution doesn't improve low light performance. Although increasing frame rate to 60fps, gives a smoother video output.

Bought 70mai A810 lastweek and fixed in my car... Superb product and video quality.. ADAS is working very well...but i turned it off because the ADAS warning for bikers and pedestrian is annoying in city traffic conditions.. Overall excellent product..the only problem i felt main camera unit heating

My one cons is: G sensor feature Photo capture feature. Heating issues(ok). We can see the real time video in display at any time ? We can see the video using APP at any time? It has G sensor which will record emergency videos when it detects abnormal vibrations. It does get heated and that's normal. All dashcams heat up. You can see the real time video display IF you are connected to the dashcam's hotspot. You can see the video on the app IF you are within the range of the dashcam, and the dashcam is on.

I have a 70mai A500S-1 which is a dual camera setup with a 2.7K front and 1080p rear camera. I am observing frames being missed in the recording of the 2.7k front sensor. Is this due to slow microsd card speed or something else? I have a samsung card which supports upto 100MBps.

1. For the price of 20K, the A810 is the best. A229 plus will cost 25K+. But if you can extend your budget from 20K to 25K, A229 Plus is definitely worth it. 2. No other dashcams in the near future. 3. Hardwiring kit has built in battery protection feature. Sto it will turn off the dashcam once the threshold battery level is reached

Some say OBD does not get ACC OFF signal, very confused between hardwiring vs OBD2. What has been your experience?

Yes OBD2 triggers parking monitoring. For some cars it does immediately, for other after 5-10 mins.

A810 with Starvis2 has much better low light performance than N5. So if you want a good performance during night, go with A810. But if night driving is minimum, and your focus is only during morning, than N5 will be sufficient.
