I wouldn't ever play a round of golf if I had to walk. Funny how different opinions are. I'm in my 30s and I'm good shape but if I have to walk a course then I'm not playing 😅

I watch a lot of golf videos but I must say that yours are BY FAR the most enjoyable. Your fun attitude reminds me not to take my game too serious (I'm 60 and still have a very competitive attitude) and just enjoy the day with my fellow playas. If you ever make it to Oregon to play I'd love to join you for a round and some golf too. 😉

I agree with you about the walking vs riding. Whenever I ride, I do feel rushed. It’s fun playing with friends and that aspect of riding, but I’m such a fan of walking the golf course.

It's such a strange concept being from Scotland. Walking is just how it's almost always done here. Big part of the appeal. I completely understand the utility of a golf cart, but I can't say I've ever used one. And to be told I had to would be very frustrating.

100% agree with your view on walking the golf course. So much more fun to walk. People forget that golf I supposed to fun, and get caught up it scoring or hitting the perfect shot. Myself included sometimes. So thanks for the positive reinforcement

Couldn’t agree more on the carts. The worst part about cart golf is when you’re not allowed to leave the path. So you’re constantly running across the fairway with 3 or 4 club options. With walking you can consider you’re options on the way and see the hole open up as you walk. And you lose less balls walking the line of your shot!

Amazing course, i have just played Prince's and Royal St Georges links courses totally different links but as inspiring especially R St G, will never forget that day. Shame it was in the crazy storms but still loved it. Like you score does not matter just love the day and place.

I’ve had the pleasure of playing Spanish, Pebble, and Spyglass about 20 or 30 times. Most people think spyglass is the hardest but I struggle with Spanish Bay the most. It’s a beautiful and difficult course and the Inn is phenomenal. Great round!

Hey Matt, the first 4 holes (maybe with the exception of your approach on 2) was the most controlled golf I've seen from you in the two years I've been subscribed. I almost didn't recognize you because your swings were that good on those shots. Not to say you didn't play incredibly on the rest of your round because you obviously did, but I was really impressed with those holes in particular. Glad you had a great time at Pebble and am excited to see the rest of your trip.

Love the creative shots you take. A 7 iron from 200 out. A 9 iron from 100 yards and a wedge around 150. I need to take a page out of your book and not just take my normal club out but get creative with the club to obtain better results.

The 2nd shot on hole 12 was such a gem of a shot. Almost seemed like you used all your mental energy on the 2nd shot which led to a brain fart of a putt for your third shot. Great round overall though, this was a lot of fun to watch, and great putt to finish under par to finish the round, that one must have felt awesome!

I can see why you hold back on occasion but man, it must open up the opportunity for closer approach shots being able to hit 300 yd tee shots like that…
