Thanks Baus Matt, I changed to this type of golf as l got into my late 50s. had to get rid of have to keep up with the kids playing in the league, took a bunch of clubs out and put in my favs and added a 1 shot to the par number. did this about 2 yrs ago. got away from hero golf and now instead of shooting 95-100 l am shooting consitently under 90. why hit driver when it gets you in trouble when you can play a 5 or 7 wood off the tee and find it in the fairway pretty much eevery time. this is a great video and always learn something new like chipping putting the club on the toe. cant wait to use that one
If you’ve been playing golf for longer than a few years and you still can’t break 100, I would have to say quit. Get off the golf course and let us actual people who don’t have brain injuries play. You’re slowing the game down ridiculously. My little Asian wife who barely plays can break 100. Give me a break chumps.

Thanks for all the advise Matty! Shot my record best score 84 including a hole in one early this week. Keep in mind I was averaging above 100 just two years ago.

Matty boom boom, your channel is amazing. I did like your videos showing Thailand, your house and I think if you did a bit more of these you’d eventually expand your viewers to even non golfers. Also would love to see you get into simulators and review them. Keep being da baus brother
I've started putting my driver away. I've played 3 rounds now and I haven't missed a single fairway yet. I only hit my 7 wood. Sometimes I can even use it on par 3s. I hit it anywhere from 150-190 depending on my strike and seems to always be straight. Best second hand club I'll ever buy. My buddies always chirp me about not hitting driver but we end up with the same distance because they slice so much. I rather be sure I'm in the middle vs gambling I might be anywhere else 😂
Smashed 90 and it's been in the rear view for a few rounds now. 88, 83, 82. Feeling supreme confidentiality with all the sticks, and keeping to the plan when the wheels fall off. Thanks Baus!
Thank you for your insights. I am 59 and I have also worked diligently on my rotation and release through the ball. That also entailed good flexibility in my torso. Unbelievably, I am averaging my driver at 235 meters (257 yds) with my furthest drive at 269 meters (294 yds). And I don't even feel as though I have to force anything. My gamer is a Stealth 1. I have to say, though, what brought down my hcp to 13,6 is very intense short game training.
Driver should be the least used club in the bag for the simple reason if you don't have a pro dispersion, it is going to get you in trouble. I get so much hate for stating that fact! If you just look at the scorecards, it would be safe to assume that you'd use driver on around 14 holes. Reality is you'd use driver on less than 10 tees. The most important things I've learned regarding course management is you have to know your shot shape and knowing what the course looks like. Now if I could only figure out chipping...
