I had this story when I was in grade 9.it was my favourite.I used to read it again and again, and would imagine the situation. Seeing this video made me nostalgic.am 38 now.

I’m so lucky I came across your video. I don’t usually finish a long video, but yours is an exception! This is a great way for me to learn English pronunciation. I have a hard time speaking English and don’t know how to say it in the correct stress words and intonation. This helps big time. Great work, thank you teacher Luke!!! Will check out all your vids!

It was such a good practice. I liked the part of push words. old fashion-style seems more beautiful. And yes it was very useful to mark those words, cause I Love to read classic stories but I am afraid that I will began to speak in an old fashion way without being aware of even😂😂

I found your channel by accident. It was a great story with lesson. The lady even followed him around and trying to find out what the old man was up to. The story was funny, so I just listened to the end and I really loved the story. I will be looking for your other stories. Thank you for this episode. I enjoyed it. I love the way you read and Roald Dahl's stories. And I like youtube's versions as well as podcast's versions because I can see your expression, your mouth movement and your gesture. Those are great for me to understand meanings of words and how you pronounce. And it helps me do shadowing. I would appreciate if your video's screen got bigger.
