You’re exactly right. The only problem is to move up to a bigger clutch. I would have to change the crank case on the 71 for the larger clutch

It usually happens when the clutch starts slipping a lot and gets real hot sometimes it will break them and sometimes it just stretches them out to where they’re not springing anymore.
