I knew you’d like the MCD there’s a lot of tech in it and you did an amazing job on the paint job. Amazing. I would like to tell your brother Jeff check the set screws on the torsion bar or stabilizer links. It’s the only problem I had was the set screws backed out.
Brother Tom thank you for the compliment and I will certainly check the set screws!! Thats the only thing I have not put a driver on yet! The whole car so far has been extremely tight. And Locktightened and not with blue either they used a quality semipermanent loctite that I also use.
Thank you Ben! Practice makes perfect!! Ive been in the hobby for a very long time. But 1/5 only since 2010 because its so expensive. Now Im a lot older and have no bills so I can support my hobby.
@eastsiderc Hellyeah bro! I'm 39, been outta the hobby for almost 3yrs until recently...I've missed the 1/5 gassers...As always sir I appreciate all the help/replies...Yes this hobby can definitely be a little pricey....
@@benthompson8528 you are more than welcome. Any questions you have Ben feel free to ask Bro. I will do my best to answer with the knowledge that I withhold. That’s what I’m here for to help people spiritually and mechanically haha! 🤝🤝
Well brother Gary I cant wait for you to see it in person! Im beyond happy with it!! Not just the paint. This is my new favorite RC platform. The craftsman is absolutely amazing!
Yeah you’re right! The two-tone looks sick. More purple on one side and that yellow stripe that separates the white goes diagonally! Great paint scheme. Also, great choice on the wheels there my man. The fact that they are wider and come out like that makes the truck looks meaner-like it’s ready to tear shit up. Hey question, i noticed for the diff and the braces you upgraded why did you opt for the model without those upgrades? Just curious
Awesome Luis Im real happy you like it. And yes the BRPs are my favorite too. Now to answer your question, I wanted the lighter version with less alloy. And this was the ARTR version it came with quality servos and a very nice engine, normally its the piston port but your know me Luis I gotta take it a step up. And I told Mike to leave all the parts off so I could build the car. I did not get many options just what I feel makes it a bit tougher thats all. I like to make my drive trains as rigid as possible especially right off the engine. Thanks for watching broham. Im still texting everyone 🤣trying to wrench! 🔧
