Hey, Heather! It was great to see you, girl! How lucky are y'all to just be related to Alex, and vice versa. I had a great time on this visit. Much love to y'all from Deltona, Florida where the hurricane was good to us. 💜🎈💜
"I had the blues really bad..!!!" No one ever mentions just how handsome Alex is...He has movie star looks and a movie star smile. The man is gorgeoso..!! His family are lovely too... i love watching his channel...always puts me in a good mood....
I love your sister! She may be estranged from a few right now- but she has gained at least 253K new brothers, sisters, mothers, dads, cousins uncle...... and so on. Welcome to our family!!
You are a hoot! So love your humor! I love your sister! Praying for family to get over themselves and understand there is enough love for everyone. God bless! 👍🏼✝️❤️
I would agree with Melissa on the hot air balloons. They look amazing but I am terrified of heights. Love the harmonica, it's gorgeous and that clock is a gem.
Yay! Nice to see heather again. :) Looks like you guys had a lot of fun this weekend. Love the giant harmonica Haha. Thanks for taking us on the trip with you. :)
I am so happy that you and your sister found each other. What an amazing new family you have gotten. I sure wish her parents would lighten up and just love her. Thanks for taking us along!
um. I'd bet they're mostly dealing with (some major) issues between themselves about the exact timing of the conception of "their first" child. This revelation has probably RIPPED APART the very beginning of their relationship and they're probably quite aged. They're working thru that with, well, no time for their child who was sadly the proximate bearer-of-this-bad news. Give them time, but acknowledge THEIR troubles which are the main and, well, the only troubles caused by this happy-happy on the part of Alex and company. Your "lighten up" dis-respects their significant difficulties. Just sayin'.
@@bmolitor615 So glad the internet police is here to get things under control. No, they NEED to ease up on their daughter. Period. She is not the bad guy. Writing her out of their life for something that was ZERO percent her fault is wrong. Denying that it is even possible is calling her a liar and making her the bad guy, which is wrong.
working thru stuff like that can involve some shoot-the-messenger and almost inevitably involves some denial, a classic coping phase, and one hopes that they get thru that phase. Finally, asking that generation to understand DNA technology and its percentage games at this phase in their lives is asking alot. And how do YOU know they've cut her out of their lives, you've seen ONE sad video from earlier (go and re-watch that, and you'll see that it's largely silence from them that is distressing her, not actual abuse) and possibly read a couple of her blog posts so you've heard her interpretation of what's happening right now, mere weeks after the fact? Go read those again along with the comments. Again, I say (and hope) that this may well simply be a phase where they are processing some Serious, serious relationship shiz, and most likely they will come around once they've sorted out questions like INFIDELITY, SOMEBODY ELSE'S SPERMATOZOA, and stuff like that - to ignore that agony is disrespectful. Give them time. And maybe actually take a few moments to try and sort out how YOU would deal with SOMEBODY ELSE'S SPERMATOZOA. I bet you'd get a little messy too...
well, no, I'm not "the internet police", and I'm not sad or nasty. I'm also not over-invested in the lives of strangers on the internet to the point whereI'm documenting in writing for all to see how I'm losing my temper and insulting people. I'm stating some facts about relationships work. You may wish to delete your comments once you've had time to reflect on the damage they do to your dignity, and that's fine with me.
That's such a lovely story you are sharing with us! Seems like you were meant to meet ,your sister and you! Life is full of treasures, and you found another one in your new-found sister's family! Enjoy it ,every day!
Omg Heather you really know how to host a adventure wow!! What an fun filled trip you had. Honestly you guys are developing a amazing sibling connection most people never get a chance to have in their lives. It inspires such joy. So happy for all family willing to heal and enjoy life together, it made for a fabulous video . And I am sure treasured memories
I was a volunteer balloon chaser for a few years. We also helped inflate and put up the balloons. My husband held the crown line several times since he is tall and strong lol. I loved chasing the Hot air balloons. Leo the Litter Lion is cool!
Wow, you and your sister are great partners in crime. The fun you two were having jumped right off the video making my heart sing the whole time! Such a fun filled trip!!!
@@olearyfam4 I can certainly see the potential for that LOL, you too are so blessed to have discover a new family member filled with potential for so much joy in both your lives.
@@CuriosityIncorporated Your sense of humor is Fantastic, it's a gift you have Alex that you share so freely even if some folks think it's corny. I like your spontaneous fun of creating humor with all the vintage props you find, like the Fred Flintstone and lets not forget the dragging Dragon Ballon. Look forward to your next adventures !!!! ps. I know your children loved this video!
How fun. We had the Spirit of Boise Balloon Festival here in Boise last weekend. We had Darth Vader, Yoda, and Elvis sharing the sky with many many colorful balloons. Enjoy your channel, your family, and your hard working friends.
I love watching your vlogs wishing heather heaps of hugs hang in there. Your family is so lovely. God bless thank you all for sharing your journey . Awesome episode.
Heather and Alex, thank you so much for the up close views of the ballon lift offs. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and can’t. As for the brother-in-law-law, get him some Vikings gear; he’ll love it! Skoal!
Absolutely loved the adventure you went on, with Heather. Thank goodness for technology today. Without it, we would never have found our 2 half brothers in England. It is truly a blessing.
What a great trip you had!... Love the hot air balloons... (even though I'm afraid of heights!)... Great idea Heather! I love the harmonica! Love all your Dad jokes too!
I live in Northern Colorado near Fort Collins (35 miles from the Wyoming Border of the state). I am about 2-3 hours due north on Interstate 25 from Colorado Springs. I have been shopping vintage, used and antiques forever. You clearly were at an Estate Sale because those same items would have been half that price at a normal garage/yard sale, and Estate sales always have things half price on the last day of the sale. Yard sales are very time consuming and hit-and-miss, but the prices can't be beat. (Greatest find: 25 yards of pure silk for $15...). Alex, next time you visit Heather, come to No Co and I will find you some great deals! I think the southern part of the state has higher prices on antiques than up here near the border. And Heather, you are loved by all of us because we love Alex. I know the Lord can change hearts. I read your blog and are praying for you and your family.
You're just such a neat person, Alex. Wish there were more kind, courteous and good humored folks like you. The world would surely be a better place. Take good care and we'll leave the light on for you. Your friends in the U.S.
I lived in Colorado Springs for over 20 years and just recently moved to Maryland. This was an amazing chance to see all the old places again! Boy do I miss Colorado, and the balloon fest. And Pikes Peak. And Manitou and Old Colorado City. And Garden of the Gods. And Colorado. So thanks for letting me see the place again! Love your videos, but this one was exceptionally special. I don't know anything about Canada but I feel like it would be hard to top Colorado Springs! I'll be looking forward to the next family installment! You and your sister and her family are a lot of fun.
There's a reason they fire those balloons up on the east side of the mountains. The prevailing winds push them out over the high plains where the only thing they're likely to hit when they come down is an antelope, cow or prairie dog..
Sure wish your sister's parents would embrace you. I know her mom is not related to you by blood but you're her daughter's half brother and they're missing out on adding wonderful people into their extended family. Glad your sister and you have bonded and get along so well. Does Poutine top all those hot air balloons? Perhaps!
I love how you are reconnecting with your sister, you both definitely share some traits even though you were not raised together. Heather is definitely one of my favorite family members you are sharing with us all. Go team Heather! 🤣👩🏻🦰🤘🏻
You & your sister get along so well as if you were together since day one! I am keeping her in my prayers that her parents will come around. You guys definitely have had some great times antiquing! Enjoyed watching this episode of your journey to the states!
My Mom worked for Al Unser Sr. and I went to High School with Al Unser Jr. in Albuquerque NM. We, dare I say “dated” in the late 1970s. The Unser’s are an extremely generous and hard working family. Love the videos with your sister and extended family.
awww 🥰 you and your sister are adorable balloon festival was amazing. keep the dad jokes coming, y’all could have a dad joke generator 🤣thanks for taking us along on your adventure
Alex, you make the BEST videos so fun and interesting. OMG, Colorado is SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Glad you had such a great time visiting your sister and family and that you found the clock and the harmonica, a lovely addition to your store.
Oh Alex, I totally enjoyed this episode of your adventures. You really found some great things on this trip to visit your precious sister Heather. So lucky you both are to have found each other. The story just blesses my heart. Love and God Bless to You both and the whole family. ❤❤❤
OMG, I love that 1955 Disneyland Lion trashcan! That is AMAZING! That is something that Walt Disney no doubt handpicked himself for the opening of his new park! 😍😍😍
I am so glad you and your sister have found each other! I am sad some of her family and yours has chosen to "walk" away from this great opportunity to have extended family. Take care, I hope you have a great time with Heather and her family.
Alex, I love love your Dad jokes, they just crack me up. They need Mom jokes. Haha. Your sister is funny also, hmmm must run in the family. Haha Loving that advertising clock, never seen anything like it before.
Heather you are truly blessed to have Alex as your brother and he to have you as a sister. I pray that all goes well with you and the families. I just love all the things this man amazes me by and to think I learned it was all after watching him open an antique jewelry box today! Blessings to all of you!
@@purplewombat1923 Thank you. I received a message through Google email from you -"skjames09 yes, you can see it above the watch cabinet at 22:54". I did stop watching after he said bye. I still didn't see it in the shop, but I will assume the part at 22:54 means it arrived safely.
Giddy you are :) Thanks for sharing. Your personality is far most the best one I've ever seen. Like giving a child a candy and they lit up...well so do you and with your antique-ing
@Curiosity Incorporated, Alex I LOVE Manitou Springs and Garden of the Gods. Manitou Springs is such a wonderful little artsy town. Looks like you had a great time visiting Heather. I'm glad she took you to the Hot Air Balloon lift offs.... I've heard of it (all the way from North Carolina), but never had the pleasure of seeing it. I've family in Colorado as well.
Excellent video! I love your jokes! I'm so happy for you to find more family to love and entertain! That was a lovely vacation and some fabulous antiquing! Tyfs.
Cool shopping trip Alex, well done; your shop is going to look so awesome!!!..... Great to see Heather + hubby again, kudos for the cool balloon trip, such a fun idea, hope you all had a good time - I did watching, so thanks ;-)
They have the balloon glow there at night time, it's so cool to watch them light up. I grew up there. Loved it there. I miss it so much. The Springs is such a fun place, Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs all great places too.
Alex, I love your video with Heather, great, fun times together making lasting memories!! I thoroughly enjoyed the jokes you came up with about your big harmonica!!Take care & God Bless.
Hi Alex! 🙋 What a fun filled, 72 hrs you had, in Co. From the B & B , the dusty ,cool antiques, to the beautiful blue skies, with brightly colored air balloons !🎈 Glad your bonding, with your "sis" . Esther from N.Y.
