We explore Metro Manila in the Philippines. What a great adventure of discovery. Weekend markets in trendy Makati and shopping malls, including the Mall of Asia, one of the biggest malls in the world. We also check out the oldest Chinatown in the world, Binondo. We then headed to Mandaluyong to explore a small village in the heart of a huge city. Ending up in Quezon City, we have enough time to explore a small area before heading out to catch our ferry.

It’s so cheap in Manila. A pack of baked goods for only P75. You must try Rambutan it’s sweet you’ll be amazed. It’s similar to lychees but Rambutan is sweeter. Jollibee is getting so popular with foreigners because it is really delicious. That’s why it is also in lots of other countries. Good you appreciate trying Filipino food. Watching you from Los Angeles, CA.

Mall of Asia is one of the biggest malls in the world not just Asia, I believe it’s the 6th biggest mall in the world and still expanding.

Santol are very sour until ripen, used the flesh for sinigang instead of tamarind. In my province of Pampanga my mom used to make a candied sweet santol for dessert.

Yes Filipinos loves shopping, mingle, socialize, eat, sightseeing, everything to stay busy. They like to get out of their houses and explore. The middle class folks Filipinos just like to browse to make time go by. I really enjoy your company. Thank you again for sharing. Someday I know I will be there in my home country. God willing. I suggest you go to divisoria shopping district. Your pesos can stretch farther there😅 Take care always watch your surroundings and keep your backpack in front of you. Criminals are still out there. That FISH KARE-KARE always goes with BAGOONG or sauted Shrimp paste which is really salty. Wow, I’ve been there at Mall of Asia in September 2023, but I’m not able to go to the food court. There were lots of international cuisine. I can see how you really enjoyed your tour of MOA. Filipinos love to eat. Malls in Manila are incredible and you’ll really not able to tour around the whole place in a day. Food is everywhere you never have to leave the mall to find a good restaurant. There are also amusement park and games arcade for the kids. Did you see the Skating rink. The biggest IKEA in the world is also in the MOA complex.
