Grab a cold one and follow along as we install a complete coilover suspension system (front and rear) on this "Square Fender" C10 pickup. You'll see plenty of tips and tricks along the way.
you do not have to do everything at once, you could buy the parts for the front end then later buy the parts for the rear end then put it all together. you do not need to buy the entire kit altogether. Something to think about.....
Can yall do a video of coilover preload adjustment? Instructions doesn't give measurements or target ride height. To make sure I don't have to much/not enough preload.
I noticed the blanket to protect fuel tank.good job .is the blanket fire proof.i would mention it in future to educate viewers. I use your products they are great.allwork properly safely and look great.thank you God bless.keep up good work.
my truck has the cadillac ride suspension and it sets about 3 inches lower then the average truck from factory drives and rides like a cad. my wife likes how it drives better then her new truck
So what are they charging for? I can't see any proper front end kit leaving those terrible front lower control arm mounts in place. Let alone the cross member that truly is your limiting factor in lowering these square body trucks.
Im sure no one will ever read this, but i bought that same streetgrip system for my truck, which is exactly like the one in the video, but mine sits way way lower for some reason and bottoms out in the rear. Trying to find out why.
Is that a lowering kit? its a damn truck I do not want my truck lower to the ground, its a damn truck!! I like it in its stock position. one question I do have is about the removal and replacing of the truck bed, do you replace the old bushings because they are 30 years old and you might as well replace them when you have the chance.
i have a 68 chevy with a stroked 454 with tunnel ram got the under side all painted and dun just need interior and final paint is left to do only have 2300 in it the body is mint still has the factory paint it has the perfect patina on it but i like paint plus i do all the work myself no help my next project is a 79 z28 rs t top i want to see if i can build it for free so far i have the drive train 2 other z28 for parts one had just got new interior have a 4 inch stroked 454 with 400 turbo or i can put a 4 speed in it have both set ups got all for free over 2 years time at the same time i collected these parts been collecting parts for other projects if u guy's like trades i have a air condition cab in perfect condition no rust at all for a 67 to 72 chevy pu have lots of 73 to 79 chevy pu have fords too have a 70 high boy dana 60/80 good clean body tool box on side no rust at all
all depends on tongue weight etc, if you have the proper trailer and load it properly it can be done, i would recommend using the shockwaves on the rear for adjustability.
My 1986 c 10 is at stock height now. If i change to this coilover suspension system how much higher or lower will my truck sit? Also the front end of my c 10 sits about 2 in lower in the front than the back, what do you recommend if I want to level that out?
Would you happen to know why does the driver side(front) stick out (bout 1or2in.s) further out and hits the fender and also its a bit higher than right side...
Should have just bagged it.. looks cooler than coil overs..flick of a switch your up and going instead of adjustable coils that you constantly have to deal with every time you want your stance right
I want to know when I can bring my ‘83 C/10 stepside in so that ridetech can demonstrate on my truck the install for front and rear suspension it might be different with the stepside I’m willing to sacrifice my truck so they can demonstrate heck I’ll even advertise on my truck with some nice graphics wow that was a good dream call me the the day and time(lol)🇺🇸
