These boats should have dual rudders, front and back, and same with engines and props. One in front and one in back, with two people controlling them. Rear helm only makes sense on ocean going ships due to large waves, but on these types of long river boats that encounter such complex currents they need two helms and propulsions, one in the front and one in the back. They would save thousands in fuel costs by this simple configuration change, and thousands in repairs from less crashes. Whomever is first to make this change will be the richest man on that river.

The more of your videos I see, the more respect I have for operators who know what they are doing and have maintained their boats. The woman operator looks like she's delivering clothing stuff.
