I drove a truck up to Akaska in '97. Hauled a railroad prototype out of Omaha, Ne. Went all the way to North on the Dalton and picked up parts for skid loaders and took them back to South Dakota. Had a job offer while I was up there. If I ever get up there again, you guys will stuck with me for the rest of my life.
I just found your channel and I really enjoy it. You and GP Outdoors are my 2 favorites on RU-vid. I started out researching smaller tractors for use around my place. Watching you (and GP) makes me think a B2601 is the way to go. Keep up the good work!
@@AkDadStuff Yeah it's looking like the right one.. just waiting on word when we are going back to work with all this going on.. but i really like the capability for landscaping prep and for planting a medium size garden...
Nice to see the smoke has subsided for now. My brother in law is up there in your back yard fighting that fire. He’s works with the Uniweep division out of Colorado. He’ll be the tallest fire fighter you’ll see with a red beard. Keep an eye out. Keep on tractoring!
Love your channel good info in here. I have the same exact b2601 and 60 inch deck. At times my cutting height dial moves down while mowing. Dealer changed the dial cam and is better but still moves from 4 to 3.5 on occassion. Any advice? Does yours move at all.
heyhey I did not have that issue with mine, It worked just fine. I have not used my mower since I moved and no longer have a yard to mow. Just woods now. Thanks for watching
How's shew goin'? The grass sort of got ahead of you a bit eh!! You need a cow or more goats!!! Did the young fella catch supper? Your tractor and mower do a nice job on the grass Mike. Glad the smoke has gone and with the rain maybe the fires are getting beat down too. Take care now!!!
That was some tall grass AK, and i loved how smooth it looked after mowing. That's an awesome mower. Wished now i had gotten the kubota 2601. Those are a real Work Horse of a tractor. Are the forest fires all out? Prayers for you all.
I have a J.D 3025e about the same size as your kubota. Biggest difference is your tractor is heavier than mine. Also you've got a mid mount PTO,and you can get a backhoe for yours where it is not an option for the 3025 e. Wished I'd known that. Oh well next time I'll do my home work before buying. Have a good day Mike.
Glad the smoke is subsiding, AK. While you were working hard to complete the grass cutting, your son was working hard to bring in some fish (smile). Your mower does a fine job. How often do you have to sharpen blades? I seem to have to sharpen blades quite often since I run over so much graveled area and I think the gravel just eats the blade edge. I've tossed a few nice sized rocks while crossing the graveled surface from one side of the driveway to the other. Your lawn looks good. Have a fine upcoming week.
Looks nice after it's mowed down, and it's tough to tell on video but it didn't seem that the tractor bogged much if at all. Do you have the climate or would it be worth it for you to plant a small vegetable garden there? I know it's late there but it seems that's all your missing. Then you can play...I mean work your tractor more also. I enjoy and watch every video you make! I can't believe that your channel hasn't exploded! Thanks and looking forward to the next one.
There are lots of folks that have beautiful gardens here but I cant grow anything but MEAT AND WEEDS. The channel will get there soon enough. I just need to get better and it will happen. Thanks for watching.
Como faço para adquirir esse equipamento? Tenho tentado mas não consigo contato com a kubota brasil. Quem vive no campo com internet via satélite só pega whattsap.
It hasn't been too bad so far and will likely do even better now that I have wheel spacers. I have not been on any hilly ground since I installed them. Thanks for watching
