Really appreciate the tour David. I especially liked that you combined a drive around the lake while stopping at various scenic locations to get out on foot. The Chamber of Commerce owes you one!

Our seven year drought was hard on the trees. Well any way this is a gorgeous part of California and Nevada. When young I lived on the Calif. side, worked at Harveys selling fine jewelry. I loved every minute I lived up there.

Thank you! When I use to live at the lake I used to ride that loop on my bicycle 1 or 2 times a week. I have not seen it in a long time and due to illness may not be able to. So, thanks for helping me feel some of my roots again!

I'm sorry to hear your in bad health.. I do these things for people who lived there and no longer do, as much as for people who've never been there. I have a great video I shot in August on the Tahoe Gal.. for a night cruise.. man the food was good on board

Stayed in King's Beach area few days back in Dec 2020, did this drive it was wonderful. Kept on the lookout for the Godfather II House, or area- I actually figured it out that the Homewood area looked to be where it had once been.

@omelyfasol When I feel it's safe I hold the camera. I also mount it on a tripod on the seat. I anchor it down with bungi cord to the seats frame or whaterve I can hook onto around the seat.

Beautiful video David, thanks for posting it. We're living in Japan now and were really wanting to move back to the U.S. Worried about the political climate however, we are very progressive. Tahoe looks amazing in any case, however.

Do boat owners have to pay a fee to park their boats in the lake, if not why not.

i live here they charge you for everything now because there are to many that come our town is about 30000 and on the weekends 90000 they come break public facilities then when we go on like a Wednesday everything is broke.
