75 yesr PCC Cars in The Hague 

In 1949 the first PCC cars came to The Hague. The PCC cars were based on an American design from the 1930s, which was clearly visible in the American appearance of the first copies from The Hague. Between 1949 and 1993, a total of 234 of these trams ran through the city. Fortunately, several copies of the various variants have been preserved. On June 2, 2024, to celebrate 75 years of PCC cars, five museum trams in good condition were deployed on line 11 from HS Station to Scheveningen. The articulated GTL8 trans from the 1980s also partly used the technology of the PCC cars. Two copies can be seen at the end of this video, one of which is a mobile restaurant.
