Linh, without a doubt you have the best utube channel in Vietnam. Good English subtitles, only wish you would show some barges being loaded and unloaded.
Another good day for all boats & barges. Over the time I've been watching (1-1/2 to 2 yrs) it seems there are less bad boats and operators. also most of the steel boats are cleaned up and painted. Am I wrong or is there some effort being made to improve water shipping? Thank you for another fine video.
Hello, thank you for watching the video. They still live on boats in cramped spaces for several weeks, even a month or more. They still have houses on the mainland, but after a few days of delivering goods, they may return home to rest and then everyone will get back on the boat to continue working, but sometimes when the boat goes to deliver goods in a remote place, people still live on a boat for many days. The engines that the boat is using can be Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Hino, Yanmar, Cummins, because I have seen those engines on boats here. These boats also go out at night and they will dock overnight somewhere on the riverbank or the boat anchors at a location where the boat will pick up its goods the next day.
@@NGUYENCHELINH Thank you for your quick reply. Thank you for the information also, I am fascinated by these boats and the people who operate them. It sounds like the boat operators really push those boats hard to get the goods delivered. That is why i was curious about what engines can be run so hard and keep on running. Very durable engines. I live at the far end of Lake Superior in the USA and we are a shipping port also. That is why I love to see your boats which are so different from what we see here but are serving the same purpose, getting goods to customers. I absolutely love your videos. Please keep up the good work.
