But seriously though, like, Cheers is kind of just a cultural osmosis thing for me as an American; I'd be lying if I said that I have any sort of active tangible interest in it or Frasier by extension. However, your video on the subject had me HOOKED and gave me a bigger appreciation for it all. I can't really articulate it, B-Mask, but you have a way of approaching/analyzing this stuff in a really appealing & compelling way. I strongly feel like it may be rooted in your own background as an artist/animator/storyteller, IMO the best video essays and/or deep dives on creative works often come from folks with experience crafting them ( _See: New Frame Plus & his "The Animation of Sonic Games" video or Red Letter Media and their SW Prequels review series_ ). With all that being said, keep up the great work!

been subscribed for a couple years now and i know numbers are all relative and shouldn’t be focused on too much but, it’s kinda insane to me that you’ve only got 75k subs right now. your work is tremendously well done, thoroughly polished and combed over, and most importantly to me, always brings in a personal relationship to the topic that makes discussing it feel so much more genuine than most folks who make videos on the internet where they talk about things. i know the algorithm does not reward quality and effort, just chasing the number that goes up, so no shade or anything, but i’m glad to have found your content when i did and watch it grow and mature and be reshaped year by year. keep doing you man

I found your Frasier video about a month ago when it came out and needless to say, I loved it. Then I spent the next few days binging alot of your backlog. You have a very fun and eclectic mix which certainly aligns with my interests too. Jem was fun and uplifting, the Hercules video felt validating for loving it and the history of why the way it is and why it works and of course the massive Don Bluth musical video. It's endlessly fascinating hearing about the history of musical theatre. Very much giving me inspiration to knuckle down and make videos of my own (the "Don't just recap the events of a thing" comment is good advice, will keep in mind) Going to watch the Fantastic Four video now, keep up the great work, here's to 100K, beyond and more fantastic fun projects you want to work on!

The smile on my face as I was playing through Tsushima and noticing the same distant camera angles, editing, tone and overall feel of those cutscenes like we saw in Infamous and the Sly games on PS2. Smart way to save on resources. Not every game needs to be RDR2 level of production.

I love your video on all the Don Bluth musicals, its the first ones of yours I’ve watched and have played them in the background when working. Personally I’d love to see u talk more about cartoons and musicals, such as Disney for example. Either way love your work! ✨🎶🎼

I finally took the plunge on Cheers and Frasier because of your video. I gotta say, I wish the later was in more of the former.

If you were to do a video on Frasier, I would recommend viewing the show on how his supporting cast (family and friends) reflect on his own issues.

Your Frasier vid hit at a perfect time, my partner and I were just in the middle of watching Frasier, which they love and it was my first time watching. Neither of us have seen Cheers so we had a blast learning Frasier's past on that show and honestly it really helped us to appreciate the show more especially when those Cheers elements popped up. Spoiled some future episodes lol but I don't think that actually ruins any enjoyment/appreciation and in fact, like you said, spurred a desire in me to watch more! Love the vids been watching for about a year and a half, can't wait to see what else you put out!

I'm glad the Frasier video did well! Hope the Marvel project goes smoothly when you decide to focus on it - I dunno what it's like to work on a video (or videos in this case) for ages, but I can imagine, and if you're trying to get straight up animation in it then I can sure see it being even more of a challenge.

i can vouch for the successfulness of 7:42 as the video got me to finally watch the show.

B-Mask, I have no idea what a Fraser is, but your style and formatting is just so engaging I can never not watch till the end. Those 2 and a half hours are gone, but atleast I now know a little more about a show I only ever heard vague references to. KEEP IT UP!!!!
