Movie: Saving Private Ryan (1998), directed by Steven Spielberg. Song: Primo Victoria, by Sabaton. My own version among the numerous editions of this video here in RU-vid, mixing images of the film with Sabaton music. #DDay75thAnniversary
It wasn't just fascism,it was National-Socialism too...fascism was implemented in Italy, which lasted only to year 1943,when fascist lost and surrendered...so on 6 june 1944 when D-Day happened fascist Italy didn't existed anymore...it was National-Socialist who had to be defeated to end WWII..
Everyone who thinks our army is worthless and a waste of tax money needs to watch this! Then have a history lesson on D-Day, one of the greatest battles ever in American history!
@@adampitt8782 British, American and Canadian soldiers all stormed on D-Day. Each had individual beaches along the shore to storm and secure to make way for a new wave of soldiers coming in to help retake France. I might be wrong on the last bit but the first part is right
@@jamesharding3459 You can't blame the Marines, their six divisions were tied up fighting the Japanese. Which is why the Rangers were made to conduct an amphibious assault.
@@assassin_rk42 I know. The Marines did their thing, Army did theirs. I just think it's hilarious that the biggest amphibious action in history was all Army lol
Great video! I love that you left the soundtrack from Saving Private Ryan in. It really punches up the song. My father flew C-47s in WWII. He flew transport, airlifted wounded, towed gliders and flew paratroopers into European combat zones and was shot down during Operation Market Garden. He was lucky. The Dutch Underground found him and, over several days, got him back to Allied territory. I wish he had lived to see Saving Private Ryan and to hear Sabaton’s songs. I can’t say he would have loved power metal, but he would have loved the history.
Thanks for your comment! One of the things that motivated me to make this video was to keep dialogue and sound effects from the movie, since at that time all the other videos I found with Sabaton music only had the song. I also think it gives it much more intensity. And very interesting story about your father! I really appreciate you take some time to share it.
absolutely godlike video mash-up. i'm stunned. pretty much exactly what i would have done. spread this shit around twitch or something you deserve more views.
That's what I said in the description of the video when I uploaded it, with the difference that this version keeps both the ambient sound and the dialogues of the film.
