Prior to the start of the Philadelphia 76ers' game vs. the Golden State Warriors, Kobe Bryant is honored with a pregame ceremony including a 33-second moment of silence for the No. 33 jersey Kobe wore for his hometown school, Lower Merion High School in Philadelphia. The ceremony also includes a display of the names of all nine lives lost in the helicopter accident, the Philadelphia bell ringing nine times in honor of each victim, and the playing of the national anthem with Kobe's high school jersey displayed at center court.

LRW 813to404 that’s what i be telling people he considered Italy his home when he was 17 the first language he knew was Italian when he came back to Philadelphia he got the spotlight when he carried his team to the chip and people from philly fucked with him but the nba or the sixers franchise didn’t knew of him more but they knew Allen Iverson and what he can bring to the table so that pissed him off but he went to the Lakers so he was happy regardless then around the time he was tryna show philly A.I stole the spotlight and that pissed him off so that’s why he was mad at Philadelphia and then facing the sixers in the finals didn’t make it better
