Sometimes we can experience some significant hurt in our life. That hurt feels even worse when it’s from those closest to us. Betrayal, rejection, abandonment, deceit, and more. This can leave significant trauma wounds on our heart and mind that inevitably send us into our own recovery healing process. Celebrate Recovery is not just for the ones that caused the hurt, but for those who have received hurt from others as well. In this episode, Rodney Holmstrom, Global Field Director of Celebrate Recovery, will unpack the importance of creating a healthy and safe space for any and all walking through life hurts, hang-ups, and habits.

Yes celebrate recovery is for both and any one who wants help Jesus is for all who wants him Celebrate recovery really works and a safe place for all to express what they need help for without the state or county or police taking you away. It’s a safe place. 12:34

People can change and repent. I believe that once people get kicked out of CR for life they should be able to stay away for, say,1-3 years.😢

CR is all about 2nd chances. CR is supposed to be safe. The visitor who's high does not need to leave unless they are posing a threat. They should be chatting with someone on the team. Depending on the person's condition, is dependent on their behavior. Some ppl act out when they are high. (I'd get pretty wild when I was using.) Every situation is different, and every team is different. The core belief is what is the glue to this ministry. You can go to any Celebrate Recovery meeting and you'll find they go by the Beatitudes, 8 principles & 12 steps. That's why we say any CR is our family!
