Yep, my air cleaner cover was not put on properly, ended up taking a set presumably from the heat, would not clip on flush after I discovered. Consequently I had a small gap, didn’t notice it until 150 miles in, air filter was packed with dust from mountain trails, hoping my engine is OK. Oh and yes, broke the center tab on the hood.
Man you almost got all the boxes checked! I'm not a big fan of paper filters, especially in high dust areas. I had way too much dust down stream of my stock filter. They've come a long way, still they have a few areas that could get better.
You are welcome! I've since sold mine and bought the cfmoto zforce 950 HO EX. I just didn't use it enough for chores around the place. Not one issue with the uforce the time I had it
That's the key. I rode mine last month with my friends, they had a Honda talon, can am x3 and a Yamaha and mine went step for step with them. For half the price of almost all of them. Plus I had the roof, winch, trailer hitch, and fender extenders all included.
I agree man. Some of these dealers just suck. They want to slap them together and send them out. Mine come with lose lugs and a slash in a tire straight from the dealer they gave me a new tire on a new rim and handed me lug nuts n told me here ya go. I said uhhh you do it machine is on my trailer that’s what I paid you for I’ll do it you get me my 700$ back 😂 my battery cables were also lose. It’s definitely the dealer not CFMOTO
After getting a cfmoto 4 wheeler, my biggest knock is the availability of accessories. I got the 1000 4 wheeler and it came with some nice toolboxes. You can take off the boxes and a two up seat can lock in. However, nobody has any 2 up seats available and they aren’t even available to order yet it’s the same seat that the 600s and 800s come with. Doesn’t make any sense
Yeah I've since sold it. I realized my tractor does all the work I THOUGHT the uforce would do. I stayed with cfmoto, but bought a zforce 950 ho ex. I absolutely love it. 900 miles on it and no issues. I had my uforce for 2 yrs and only put 450 miles on it. I didn't like the jerky as hell clutch, the rough ride, or the impossibly hard to reach service areas (oil filter, tranny dipstick, and even the battery location.) I didn't have a single issue with mine, but it was rough riding with my friends on trails that have sport machines.
@@ironheadbiker ... I have the 2023 model Uforce 1000, and so far the only thing that I'm not a fan of is the clutch when driving at slow speeds. Anything less than approximately 10 mph, and it snatches like hell. My uncle has one and said his clutch has smoothed out after a few months of riding. Hopefully, mine will do the same
I'd go for the stage 1 kit from red Neck Garage. Around $130. Pretty easy to install. I did it with my new z950 ho ex. It'll get rid of that jerky crap 100%. I also did a video on the oil filter adapter from mrrpm. It makes service so much easier. I bought the Hester edition Elka's (stage 5) for my new machine because I wanted the best ride, although my new ride is awesome, I wanted perfection. They're STILL thousands cheaper than anything else out there. You didn't make a mistake, it just needs a lil tweaking to be perfect.
So I've watched quite a few of your videos and I enjoy the detail you've put into them regarding the uforce. My question to you is do you recommend this machine? I'm in the market for a recreational/utility and I'm leaning towards this thing. I've been researching and watching videos and now I'm on to asking around to get peoples honest opinions. Happy with it? Any regrets? I'm not looking for a machine to swamp or bog with. Mostly hard trails with some rocks and some mountain mud here and there and then work around my property. Anything else not mentioned in the video you dislike or have had issues with? Also do you know if you can get lift kits for these to take them up a couple more inches and a larger tire size or 2? Thanks for the videos and your time it's greatly appreciated Zack
Thanks for the kind words. Yes you can go up to 30" without adding a lift kit. But many do that too. I've not a single issue that's left me dead in the water. It's easily $6k less than the next machine and I've got awesome stock equipment. They are a great value. Which i wanted. I've added some accessories, but having a winch, roof, 14" rims, and other things straight from the factory is a great deal. I'm not a fan of the locked in rear end, it does tear up the ground on every turn. But other than that I've got zero regrets and a lot of inquiries of my machine.
Awesome thanks for the imput! I'll dive into them a bit more and hopefully make up my mind for myself someday soon..haha.. Thanks again and keep up the good content🤙
This is what I needed. I think I'm about to pull the trigger on a CF Moto. I am wondering about their reliability. Are these machines as good as say a Kawasaki Mule or a Honda?
They had a mule right next to this one when I bought it, I sat in the mule and the bench seat felt like I was sitting in church, very thin flat pad, not contoured like the cfmoto. Also the tires and rims on the mule made me nervous about getting hung up too easily because they're smaller. The uforce 1000 kept up with my bro's honda talon and my buddy's can am maverick. I never had a single issue with it where it needed to go back to the dealer. I sold it this last March after 2yrs and the new owner still loves it. I sold it because my tractor does all my chores and I really just wanted a trail machine. So I stayed with cf moto and bought a 2023 z950 ho ex. It's awesome. I've got 1,200 miles on it and not a single issue. HALF the price of my buddy's X3 can am. My largest complaint with the uforce was the single rate, low travel shocks. They were adequate for basic slow trail riding, but when we ripped down the trails I'd have to brake hard to handle the bumps. Three zforce 950 floats over the same bumps at 50mph. The engines have many parts that can swap over from the can am engines, not that China would EVER steal somebody else's stuff. Lol
I'll recommend it for you they're great bikes All these companies have cheap plastic snap on c*** nowadays doesn't matter what bike you buy but mechanically the CFMOTO are tough as nails I own 2 and they have been great.
Yes but not the uforce, I bought a z950 ho ex. They all have locked rear diffs in them and I don't feel that's wise using it for hauling loads. With that said I never a an issue with my uforce1000, or me new ho ex 950 which already has 1,000 miles on it. Would buy my 3rd tomorrow if I had to for the savings compared to others.
I've actually found that to be the truth with everything. My Kubota tractor was sold to me by an awesome dealer. The john deere dealer treated me like I was wasting their time, and was way over their advertised price telling me they can choose to sell them at any price they feel. I'd shovel my driveway before ever setting foot in that place. I returned to my cfmoto dealer to buy my 2023 zforce 950 ho ex. Such an awesome machine.
@@ironheadbiker I did its not that. But when I went to put the fuse back in the 40 amp under the passenger seat the instrument panel lit up just for a Split Second they told me to tighten up the fitting with needlenose I did and still no result looks like I'm going to have to bring it into the shop and less you know something else
