QUESTION: if someone modifies their car in ways that genuinely make them enjoy their car more, and has no negative impact on anyone, why is it so important that you hate this person?

Those seats are designed to reduce weight, and to hold you in place, particularly during cornering; so you can stay focused on your steering and overall control of the car instead of bracing yourself against your steering wheel or the side of the doors etc. They're not for straight speed as implied in the video. Any car regardless of power can utilize them. I don't recommend full bucket however without a telescoping steering wheel or a quick release system otherwise it can be a hassle getting in and out.

I don’t get why ricers get such a bad name; “How dare people do what they want with their own car! Why don’t they do what I want instead?!”. The beauty of the car community lies in its personalisation, the ability to create your own masterpiece that’s right for YOU. Im sure we can all agree that cars, to us, are an extension of our personality, so why should we restrict what we can and can’t do with that?

Had a Neon with the performance package. 189hp and sub 10s 0-60. Took my 2000 Carolla and had the 139hp non stock engine but got into sound by then. 1000W. The Neon could do 160mph. Used to have fun at Lime Rock Park. My favorite hobby was stealth games. Go past a boom box ricer and roll my windows down and play my IASCA cd. Bass boy at full volume 🤣🤯

I think you forgot to mention lowering your car so much there’s zero suspension left. This makes your “fast” car the slowest car on the road since you have to slow down for every bump. 🤣

Props for not saying big wing on a fwd car, as someone who runs a fwd on a track with a dogleg straight i can tell you that it makes a massive difference, if you enter the dogleg at my local in a fwd with no rear wing at over 100mph you will exit that corner backwards, ive seen it I've experienced it, no part of it is enjoyable😬 What i will say is a YTuber constantly plugging his own merch; extra ricey🍚 And sorry but no, paint and stickers are 100% off the table for criticism simply because no one can agree, the biggest issue i find is yes you can paint your hypercar a gaerish colour slap a load of stickers on it, and no one will say a word, do the same to a VW and its rice, which makes it seem like less of a style thing and more of an elitist thing. P.S the seat you showed to be an aftermarket "race seat" was actually an oem sport seat, real racing seats DO NOT recline for obvious reasons.

A buddy of mine had a Chevy Cruze with an ls swap kept the interior and exterior rather bone stock apart from changing wheels and tires cleaning up the fitment. It was the prime example of sleeper!

The amount of vents on a ricer actually make the car faster since vents are holes and to make a hold you need to remove material And removing material from the panels reduces weight

I've got a 2010 civic si, but i'm going for performance upgrades that actually provide power and better handling. My mod list is mainly Skunk2 parts. I've got a skunk2 intake, headers and exhaust. skunk2 coilovers. seibon carbon fiber hood. 20mm spacers, enkei rims with rays lug nuts, toyo all season tires "I live in Canada". Short shifter with spoon shift knob, looking for a tasteful non ricer body kit for ground effect and looks. Hondata tuning so I can get the best performance out of it. Still have more I'd like to add to it in the future, it's been a fun build. trying to break that honda civic ricer stereotype haha
