It’s very severely limited, instanced gameplay, unlike Neverwinter, where you go from your city hop into an adventure area there’s 20 people in the adventurer there’s 20 people in the city you come back you go to a different area there’s 20 people there, and you can also choose which instance you want to be on. If your friends are on instant tan, you can try to shift the instant tan just like video if your friends are on a certain server you can switch to that server those are MMO’s when you join the queue waiting for a match that’s going to have say 15 people in it. Destiny, two is not an MMO it’s a hub based co-op, shooter you login to your ship your hub then you join an instance that has people in it or another instance that has people in it that’s not an MMO if you logged into that instance and people were all around you that would be an MMO Borderland for instance isn’t an MMO it’s a four player co-op, shooter, destiny, kind of a hybrid co-op, shooter we much what you do involves joining an instance with other players it’s not the only thing that you do war frame, and destiny are kind of too categories, all of their own outside of the MMO single player, co-op situation, but basically at heart both of them Are based co-op shooters where you are joining someone else’s instance or they are joining yours. Versus any actual MMO where you login and there are people all around you on the server and various locations even never winter which is entirely instant spaced. You login there I think that the on PSN right now the instances are 24 players they were 20 for a while but I think they’ve increased them to 20 or 25 the city you log into we have 24 or 25 people in it when you go to any adventure location they’ll be 25 people in it. Everywhere you go is 25 people Exception maybe being your Guildhall I don’t know how they handle that if you’ve got 100 people in your guild can all be in the same instance I don’t know all I know is it’s an actual MMO because when you login you’re not in a fucking hub, you’re not in a shape or or your house or some hub That doesn’t have any other players in the instance at all borderlands you log into your hub city in whatever version of borderland you’re playing and then if you wanna play with other players, you have to join them in their instance Genshin impact not a fucking MMO. I’m in admittedly heartland is almost certainly going to exist and it does exist. They’ve been play test but it’s not out and it’s January 2024, but it’s also not a fucking MMO.
