i have PCOS and gaining too much weight the past couple years and thought about trying ozempic - until my mom who’s an RN and works for top rated surgeons (both plastic & general), told me that ozempic patients have to stop taking their doses for a full MONTH before their surgery because it slows down the digestive tract to such extent that it’s dangerous to perform surgery prior to a month of it being out of your system because when performed any sooner, patients STILL HAVE OLD FOOD IN THEIR DIGESTIVE TRACTS FROM MONTHS PRIOR, which is why they need you to stop it for so long to make sure there’s no food build-up in your system (aka why you need to fast prior to surgeries). some patients have lied and tried to get away with it, but they are so serious about the patients on ozempic, that they check you prior to putting you under anesthesia and will not do the surgery because it is too dangerous. they have sent multiple patients home the big day of their surgery because the patient didn’t want to stop, lied, or didn’t stop a full month prior, and still had food backed up in their system. anyway, once i heard that it was an immediate no for me. and most people have absolutely no idea this is even a thing! not unless you’re expecting to get surgery, you wouldn’t know this information. now imagine something happens to you where you need emergency surgery - an accident, injury, heart, appendix, ovary rupture, ANYTHING, and you need immediate surgery. guess what? the surgeons will not even be able to perform that emergency surgery to save your life/limb/organ/etc, or they would be putting you at even greater risk of death by putting you under. NO THANK YOU! everyone stay safe, healthy, do your research & always listen to your bodies & instincts 🙏🏽🫶🏽

Honestly, it takes a lot of courage to speak up about this, in these era when people feel the need to express their opinions in nasty ways about anyone and anything. It's a huge advantage that your father is your doctor and can monitor you, so i hope that people get that into their heads. I, for example, managed to get my hormones, my cravings and my weight under control with intermitent fasting and a low carb diet. As a bonus, i managed to sort out some stomach problems too. But i did this diet for 2 years now and i'm slowly introducing more carbs, as i find it too restrictive to stick to it for my entire life. It's the only thing that worked, after lost of trial and error diets, eating plans and medication.

Jeśli chodzi o Twoje bóle( wiem że robiłaś badania) ale sprawdź czy nie masz zapalenia pęcherzyka żółciowego i kamieni które mogą powstać na skutek gwałtownego spadku wagi. Liver doesn’t hurt, it must be your gallbladder. Ozempic slows down ur digestion and food starts to ferment in ur intestines hence why the farts. Acne and hair loss is related to increased level of androgens and that sskemthing which u should look into. Increased androgens also are responsible for depressive moods.

Thank you Paulina 💜 I have been taking 1mg for diabetes type 2 for a month, before that .50, before that .25. My body had gone thru pre-diabetes but i was unable to change my dietary content. The progression into diabetic status was caught early because of regular annual blood work (required for other meds i must take.) Ozempic is helping me change my eating in a very big way. I'm 60 and tall w big bones but at 325lbs was harming my knees and gosh knows where else! I am grateful for this drug. I didn't know anything about it or that it was trendy. Have never asked for weightloss help. My practitioner wanted me to try it because of my blood glucose. I'm glad she did. I notice the comments section is pretty underpopulated right now, so, do know dear Paulina, I'm sending extra support to you and others. p.s. I think I'll enjoy my fragrances much more as my body self-image improves!

I had hair loss too for om ozempic side effects, so bad that my hairdresser had to take my fringe back to the top of my head,and cut layers into it to cover the hair loss.ozempic is meant to empty the stomach slower,making you feel fuller for longer, it did not work that way with me....I had horrendous diarrhea and vomiting, uncontrollably, that went on for months, two or three times a week,I took ozempic on a Sunday,by the Tuesday was so ill,had to buy adult incontinence products,as I'm disabled using crutches could not get to bathroom in time.

Hi Paula. Thanks for being so honest in your videos about Omz. A couple months ago i was told i was diabetic through lifestyle. My nurse and i talked about solutions, and i mentioned this drug . She was hesitant as the side effects outweigh the results. So i decided not too. Instead i joined slimming world. Lost. Stone in 5 weeks, which made me not in the diabetic range anymore. Listening to your journey, i would offer only this advice. Your losing hair as your body needs certain vits and minerals yo make hair. And certain phytos in plants. I would consider taking to a nutrionist about how to sort out your diet so you don't do perm damage to parts of your body. It’s really important to get these foods into you. Anyway, good luck.

I haven’t done ozempic but your symptoms scare me a bit. Only because I did have hyperthyroidism for a few months. However my numbers evened out. Unfortunately my symptoms never did. It’s been 3 years and I still have hair loss , brain fog, headaches, head pressure, chronic fatigue but the number one thing that has gotten worse with time is liver pain and nausea. It’s constant now and my scans are great but I can’t get rid of the pain it awful. Listen to your body you seem a very healthy weight now. The longer the pains stay the harder it can be to get rid of sometimes. I just started acupuncture and Chinese herbs now. So important to keep your liver in balance it won’t always show in scans. Keep it a good thing you did for yourself and health 😘

Hello, thank you very much for this video and how open you are, i really believe it will help others in their journey. About the losing of hair combined with growing hair in masculine ways lets say - this directly indicates that you have a hormonal imbalance and that your body makes way more `male hormones` like testosteron or progesteron, this might in time affect your period also.. I had hormonal imbalance all my life due to my PCOS caused by poor eating (lots of sugar and carbs and not much protein and fruit), poor vitamine intake and stress. So please, makes sure you eat very well even though you are taking this medication. I dunno the specifics of it but as i ve done some research this is quite common. I think a hormonal check is always good cause hormones are so much tight with our well being.. take care, thank you very much for your online presence and i wiss you all the best

In the USA its very difficult for most people to get Ozempic for weight loss unless they can pay full price for it, and it is quite expensive. Many insurance companies have refused to pay for all weight loss drugs. It sounds like you are getting much better health care than people in the USA, too.

Paulina, you are a wonderful person and you look amazing, and I don't want to be negative, but as someone who once struggled with weight gain/loss and disordered eating, I think that both the hair loss on your head/brows and the fuzz you're experiencing on the rest of your body is due to a lack of calories/nutrition and rapid weight loss. The fuzzy hair on your body is called "lanugo" and it's your body's desperate attempt to keep/get warm... and when you're body is in a sustained and extreme calorie deficit, it will let go of the functions that aren't the most important (like growing/maintaining hair). Please, look after yourself, I know you're being looked after by a doctor, but sometimes MD's only care about your bloods and numbers, and not on the other symptoms you are experiencing, which might lead to other issues like bone density loss, infertility and mental distress in the long-term.
@cweretelnyk

You're clearly trying to be helpful, but she never mentioned fine downy hair, and she is very clearly not underweight. The hair issues she mentioned are obviously hormonal and more along the lines of PCOS. I'm not suggesting she has PCOS, rather than hair and skin issues are hormonal in nature, not 'anorexic fur' and hair loss as you're suggesting.

You are most likely getting hair loss because of the weight loss. It has nothing to do with the medications. Anyone who undergoes fast weight loss whether it’s from Bariatric surgery or ozempic/monjaro unfortunately hair loss is always going to be a downside. I had Bariatric so trust me I know.
