Porsche published a recent article of their 8 most iconic car colours. Here I've put together a video of those 8 colours shown across different cars. Let me know which is your favourite?
Be interesting to see videos of signature colors per specific Porsche models. As a huge 993 fan, shades such as Riviera Blue and Polar Silver were so iconic. Can only imagine, each generation would showcase really special colors. Great video, by the way 👍🏼
Hi Kenny, thanks for your feedback and suggestions as to the next type of video you would like to see. I’ll start doing some research and will prepare something soon so watch this space. Wishing you a very Happy New Year! 😎 🚗
@@Schuey_M Really hard to type with tears of joy in my eyes. You found 993s in colors, I've never seen before. Bloody love this video. Well done, sir 🫡🍻

In many Asian countries, loud colors similar to Miami Blue and Lava Orange usually adorn taxicabs to make them more visible in crowded traffic. I wouldn’t pay extra to get a color that reminds me of a taxi 😊. Chalk is my favorite.
Both lovely colours but they didn’t quite make the cut as per the article published by Porsche, which I based my video on. However, I agree with you, perhaps those colours should have been included, especially GT Silver. 😎
Wow, what a car to have owned and I bet you wish you still had it. Don’t think I’d be too fussy about the colour either if I had a classic like that! 😎
@@Schuey_M It was so far ahead of its time, when new it was like driving a race car, for 1970,,,Over head can, hemihead flat six engine, made of alloy, dry sump, lubrication, four wheel dics brakes two, three choke weber carbs, ZF rack and Pinion steering, 2300 pounds of high performance excitement!
@@jackjohnsen8506 That sounds amazing Jack. It’s a philosophy Porsche seem to have stuck to then, they’re always ahead of the competition and even with sometimes lesser power than the rival manufacturers, they still seems to be faster on road and track. I took delivery of my first Porsche about 6 months ago, a 911 (992) GTS, and I’m absolutely smitten. Need any excuse to go out and drive it 😊🙏🏼.
Yes, that was a little surprising for me too. But this list was based on an article published by Porsche themselves so I’m going by what they had said. 👍🏼
Racing yellow?? Ask anyone, they would rather have Speed Yellow. How about GT Silver? Rubystone Red? While the colors listed are “cool”, the only “iconic” one on the list is Guards Red, maybe Irish Green.
