Just like you, i also don’t know how to edit videos so may i ask how did you learn those skills? Or which RU-vid videos helped you out with it? Go for it! I definitely Googled and watched a lot of videos to help out the editing. Mr Alex Tech is a great resource. I use DaVinci resolve since it is powerful, and free. This video didn't get many views, and didn't resonate with my typical audience. For that reason I probably won't do a dedicated video on my editing process. But I hope this helps

Hi Brian! I am really enjoying your content. I started my channel nearly 1 year ago. I will probably be monetized by mid-February. I am in the process of more seriously niche-ing down and our focus is similar. One of my problems has been finding a good video editor that will do proper research for financial content. I am currently "writing" my own scripts and doing my own editing but those both need to be more professional. Would you be open to speaking with me? Or would you be open to sharing some of your resources? Btw, I have started adding the channel subscribe link to a few of my videos.
I will gladly share all that I know. More than willing to chat anytime. Sadly I've had horrible luck with editors. I hired and fired four different editors last year. Some provide great content, and some are just a machine punch out bad product. Sadly I never found one that could ever stick to timelines and meet a deadline. For that reason I've been writing and editing all of my videos.
I have a canon R5, but with decent lighting you can do it with your phone. In fact I'd recommend that you start cheap and only buy more expensive equipment once the channel can pay for itself. Thanks so much for the comment
