Hi! Well, WOOPS! I just realized in the rainbow fish portion of this video, I included the furcata’s in the 20 gallon and in the still image. I called them paskai though. So sorry! 😊
A great topic since we each have our favorites. Right now, I have a group of Congo Tetras and they are magical! Another fish I find magical is the Scissortail Rasbora with the purple shimmer they have.
Ahhh, Wednesday morning Magic appreciated. ❤ I have a group of sailfin peppered cories that I didn’t mean to buy but am so glad I did. They look glorious… and magical 🦄
@@thesmallscape I don't know if they're quite as impressive as the ones you showed, but I went in needing to replace some sterbais from fishmaggedon 2023, but got suckered in by their cuteness (and lower price TBH).
Also, also, did you know there's something called a Fairy Spotted Cory? I saw them at my lfs last time I went - they only had 2 so I didn't get them, but they were *definitely* magical!!!!
What are those white dot like things with thread hanging from them? Am I seeing things? Think now they must be some floating plant but looked like they were swimming magical creatures
O...M...G... I've been planning a fairy tale tank for a few weeks! I'm thinking a 29 gallons with a betta, a green dragon bristlenose pleco and a school of amber tetras🤴⚔️🐉🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Something that might be fun, is a white, magenta, blue or yellow mystery snail (there are other colors but those are nice ones impo). Sometimes they do little dances and stretch their antennas out. But it would be nice for a fairy tale foresty vibe. especially if you have a toadstool decoration.
@@thesmallscape absolutely. Only learned about the psuedomugilinae family last winter. They are tiny and beautiful. And their behaviors are fun to watch. Especially if you have a large group with a good female to male ratio. 💙😊
1) Fundulopanchax sjoestedti (blue gularis) 2) North American darters 3) Aphyosemion australe (any strain) 4) epiplatys annulatus (rocket killifish) 6) Fundulopanchax gardneri nigerianus Misaje ADL 13-15 Killifish are always overlooked. I don't think people understand them. They are awesome fish and must of what people know aboit them is wrong.
they're not the same genus Melanotaenia but still same family Melanotaeniidae. that's why they are still referred as rainbowfish as well. so your fact isn't really fact
