Yeah, their track record is trash. Poor kids had to save themselves, because they realized no one else was coming to their rescue. According to neighbors, they’ve been trying to get those kids help for well over a year, but CPS shut em down every time.

CPS spoke to the kids? They were probably terrified out of their minds to tell the truth. Also having an expensive tidy home, doesn't mean that parents can't be abusive monsters. CPS failed these children, so sad.
Exactly. Ruby knew CPS was watching them from afar for a while. It was no secret viewers were making calls to the tip line for CPS and stuff. Ruby might not have been given notice from CPS they were coming, but she knew it would happen sooner or later so I’m sure she coached the kids on what to say when/if the cops or CPS ever came. And honestly, back then the abuse probably wasn’t as bad as it is now. I don’t think it got as physical (starving/restraints/wounds) bc they were still filming. I’m scared that as soon as that channel stopped posting and ruby was doing connexxions that’s when the physical abuse peaked. The mental and emotional abuse seems to have been a lifelong thing for most of the kids, which is still not okay, I’m just thinking ruby thought she could control them with her threats and would just take things away, then once off camera Jody started telling her she wasn’t doing enough or something snd she needed to physically punish them. The abuse ruby recorded and posted is sick enough. It makes me sick worrying about what was done after. They’ll be back in court tomorrow so who knows what crap she will try there again. I’m really curious if she is going to make a plea deal or if she’s that narcissistic that she thinks she can get out of this.
Look at most abuse cases especially those that end in death- CPS and courts almost always did shit to protect them and had multiple instances to save them. I feel like it’s the one job you can get a paycheck form without having to do anything at all. And what does funding or income have to do with making bullshit reports? fuck off
CPS found nothing to be concerned about. Fast forward to today, when the younger child crawled out of a window, duct taped, malnourished & pleading the neighbors for help. I wish CPS wouldn't let themselves be bamboozled by a pretty face & nice home

yeah white ppl gets away with crime just like it always been in history. While minority gets their kids taken even if they love them to death. Nothing new.
I heard in a separate video that it was 17 THOUSAND... not million. And a lot of times, abused kids are too afraid to speak with CPS. Unfortunately, social media viewers will overreact over the least little thing, so CPS has to be mindful of that. Imo, they should have made a repeat visit or perhaps tuned in to the vlogs. They could have gotten a more accurate picture, especially with the lack of a bed for the oldest son. My godson called CPS on his mother some years ago because she wouldn't buy him name brand (expensive) shoes and clothes. They'd had an open case before so the woman came out and once she was made aware of the fact that there was no neglect, she explained that, by SC USA law, his parents only had to provide him with a bed(room), bathroom, food, water, electricity and areasonable amount of clean clothing. She even told him that the clothes could be grey sweatpants and shirts. Turns out, the poor kid thought that if he had the same things as the "cool kids", then they'd want to be his friends. The point of the story is that, at least here in my home state, a parent/guardian has to provide a bed for their kids. I wonder if that's going to be brought up in her court case? 🤔
He wasn’t even a bad kid, he was an exploited teenager trying to live with Ruby’s crazy ass in a house where he was treated like a prisoner and told he would be kicked out and not welcome back after he turned 18. I hope these kids can somehow find a way to cope with all of this and get the love and support they all need
I wish I could witness Ruby's face when she finds prison guards and cellmates treat her the way she treated her own children. They will probably still treat her better than what she's done.
Right!! The 8 year old had to make her lunch every morning and the pre schooler missed her day of fun because she had to wake herself up. Rubbish, I mean, Ruby refused to wake her child up for preschool. Wtf is that???? 😡

MILLIONS of ppl are concerned for the safety of these children yet CPS and sadly the police as well, find nothing wrong...I just can't 🤦 And those wilderness camps should have lawsuits up the ass and be permanently shut down. UNREAL why is child exploitation still happening??!!!! 😢

This Mommy dearest literally sets her kids up so she can punish them. She is the worst kind of abuser, using God as a reason to humiliate, hurt, starve, embarrass and degrade her children. Her children will need some intense therapy after this. This is not tough love. This is abuse and evil. Period.
Chad probably had behavior issues because he didn't get good restful sleep. Also, his mom spent way more time on her youtube channel documenting her bullying capabilities than she spent giving actual loving attention to her kids
And shouldn't CPS be held responsible also for investigating the abuse and neglect issues multiple times and then clearing each report as lack of evidence? And what about the police departments involvement? I say arrest them all and throw the key away! Forever! I have zero tolerance for child abuse! As we all do!! And the Sisters for staying quiet! I'm sure she told the kids that if CPS ever showed up, they had better lie and say they were happy and healthy instead of what they actually were: starving and depressed.
Are CPS agents trained to understand that if they question the kids in the house, and especially in front of the abusing parents, that they’re just going to lie to protect themselves from the consequences? Even if they interview them in another room do they not have better methods of getting to the truth? If they just ask how are you and the kids say “Oh we’re fine” and then they just leave?? Wtf

The parents are terrible the mother is a violent abusive narcissist trying to hide behind her faith and the father is a textbook example of a physically present, but emotionally absent father. hopefully one day they can heal and experience the love they never received from their awful parents.
I went to wilderness. I was abused mentally and physically at 15yrs old. It changed me and destroyed my life and mental state for years following. Honestly, it made me worse and need to Find a way to escape the hell I went through that I couldn't escape. People don't realize how horrid and abusive these places are. I mean 2 guys are in jail from my wilderness for sleeping with 12&15 year old......
The kids should sue CPS and the police department that also did nothing. If RF hadn’t escaped, he and EF would most likely have died from malnutrition. A human can live for only about 3 days without water.
She literally had kids just so she could get some sick enjoyment out of punishing them. This is why I don't think everyone should be allowed to have kids.
OMG! My friend got sent to Anasazi when we were teens. The kids sent there were only allowed to shower once a month and were forced into a lifestyle of extreme wilderness survival.
CPS honestly thought that 19 million viewers got abuse wrong. That is a system that needs an overhaul. Children have no rights which needs to change. No agency protects the mental well being of a child or the right to have a childhood. Mine lost theirs to their Father and his 2nd wife's cult.
